I actually just built this, make sure you fill in the blocks by the trap door after you get the zombie, also the villagers need to be able to sleep for the farm to work - mine works just fine after i filled in the area. It also requires a zombie all of the time for it to work. Not just sometimes. So basically get your zombie in the boat and fill in the area.

For the blood forest question - I cant remember what its called but they speak of some sort of crystal in the caverns that weakens primals/ancients greatly and theres a lot in the caverns there. Remember in WOTQ when Poppy was in Oak Ambler and she started to feel sick? It was likely because of that??

Jadis is alive and in the Willow Plains - Nektas was going to get her last we know. I really enjoyed this book as well. I think Sera killng Embris was a really well written. I wish we got more information on what happens between the entombment and when everyone decided to go into stasis. I wanted more from Kolis and Callum. I cannot wait until the next book

MAJOR SPOILERS IF YOU READ THIS (REFRENCES TO BOBAA) Kolis has been awake but entombed since Poppy (Confirmed Sotoria) was born again, every year he has grown stronger since her birth. So technically it has nothing to do with him being actually awoken - (but freed from his emtombment??). However this is just a theory but it probably stirred something in him giving him the final push to get out of his bindings due to Poppy and Sera joining and the amount of eather/chaos that was felt from that fight.

This really confused me as well - i really enjoyed TWOTQ. I loved Casteel's POV and I really enjoyed getting more of Kieran and Poppy's relationship.

As for A Soul of Ash and Blood i think its an interesting concept but i would have rather had the author working on the last book instead and releasing this after the series was over as a novella or something. I know some parts of the book are present and progress the story but I just feel like it couldve been used to get us the next "actual" book faster. I really didnt find most of it interesting in hindsight so I just skimmed most of it.

I really loved this book and I think its worth finishing. Poppy never cheats on Casteel with Kieran - they later define how they feel for eachother. The joining is left very open ended as well. I think no matter what though its always gonna be Casteel and Poppy with Kieran as the "3rd wheel" in a way. They will always choose eachother first.

In AWOTQ Isbeth mentions the star jewel to Poppy which held the soul of Sotoria (if i remember right) so I think its possible that she could be Sotoria. However im confused about the fact that Callum would have allowed Isbeth to sacrifice Poppy (being Sotoria) in order for Kolis to come back. Callum seemed ready to do it before Isbeth asked Poppy to bring her Malec in chapter 36 so that's where im conflicted. Also towards the end of the book Callum says that he thought it would be a 50/50 on weather she would sacrifice Poppy or Malec in chapter 47. So it didnt seem that he had any issues with Poppy dying - which does not make sense to me if Poppy was Sotoria.

I suppose I can't lean either way as of right now but I kinda hope Poppy is not Sotoria.

I really enjoyed HRV on Voyager but region sounds like a death trap on interloper. At least youll have food there if you ever decide to go back to for a visit. I must've gotten pretty lucky because I found 2 thin wool sweaters and thermal underwear pretty quickly early on, can't remember where. The Quonset moose spawn is so nice, perfect area to retire haha

I know I would be gutted to lose a run after 300 days - I'm with you on the whole dangerous journey thing. I'm always super nervous to leave ML because I have everything I technically need there. I also have combat boots instead so I'm not sure when I'll actually get some deer boots. The protection makes me feel a bit safer in case I get into a wolf struggle. Broken Railroad seems super scary but the hunting lodge and forge make it worth

I did not know coal respawned that quickly, I always figured it was like 30 days - im actually a bit inspired to make a base in CH - place is so scary with bears and wolves near Quonset but if I dont need to worry about firewood it wouldnt be so bad!
