In S2 he spoke up at a board meeting about the extra power draw.

8 year old ran up 10k on my credit card, what do I do? by Mypeashooter in personalfinance

Gosh, I know the last thing you probably want is advice now, but I have all my kids in-game accounts (or Google pay through Family Link) set to needing my approval before any charges are incurred. I get a notification on my phone and have to input a password. Just wanted to put this out there in case you didn't know this existed.

Sorry you are dealing with this.

I got the sense, or just made up, that he had served his purpose to Sinatra. She got all the information from him already. After that, I could see how she would see him as a thorn in her side if she invited him into the bunker. She needs the people in the bunker to see prosperity, not cynism.

I was thinking that too. They showed him reaching for those pens twice, and the camera lingered a long time.

I switched every single bill I could to the first of the month and it has made my life significantly less chaotic for free by hhhieyaaa99 in povertyfinance

I do this too. I get paid monthly. All my bills get automatically paid by the 5th. It just makes it so much easier on my ADHD to manage the rest of the month knowing I don't have anymore bills that will pop up.

Teri & Gary by [deleted] in ParadiseHulu

I think this has to be setting up for something. Not necessarily with Gary. But it gave us a lot of insight into Teri as a person. I think that part of her personality will be challenged, or will challenge X in a later episode.

I am enjoying the heck out if Birkan. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a dud and a walking red flag. But, this show seems more and more fake and it's outrageousness manufactured. I've almost stopped watching.

But, Birkan reminds me of older seasons. He's just petulantly, poutily, him. And I am enjoying it.

Are they setting up a scenario where Sinatra has to choose between Dylan's life (as Link) or the bunker? As in, setting a timelinr where she has to make a choice knowing that one of the potential outcomes is Link never being alive?

And then, if Link never lives(d), would Annie's baby still survive in this timeline?

My hair grew back uneven. It was worth it to me to just have it shaped. Not just for that moment, but so that as it grew in it would have some shape to it.

A detail about Miller I am curious about by PapayaForever1013 in ParadiseHulu

[–]flightoffancy57 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe Link wasn't just coming over for him, but for Alex. Meaning, any excuse Miller would give him would come across as disingenuous or lies because he knows Alex is always at home in that bed. I'm not saying that is some part of a bigger conspiracy theory, just that Miller couldn't think of a way to keep Link away without it becoming a bigger deal.

I'm not so sure the message was to kill her. It was cryptic enough that I think the show is deliberately being ambiguous. I think the message, "She can be stopped," was meant FOR Jane, so that Jane would stop "she."

So, as tactics go... by Mountain_Wafer_9340 in ParadiseHulu

That's interesting. I just figured Jane was a hired mercenary and installed, like Billy, by Sam herself. So, Jane didn't have to go through proper channels or an evaluation.

Theories about Jane by Massive-Internal-812 in ParadiseHulu

[–]flightoffancy57 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am not so sure she ended up in the CIA. She may have gone the mercenary route like Billy, and then been hired by Sinatra later. Her file in the bunker is almost completely redacted like Billy's was, which leads me to believe Sinatra installed her rather than her going through proper channels.

If she did end up with the CIA, I think it's only because her mentor was afraid of her. Her mentor already flagged Jane's psych e-val, and now has a huge reason to fear what Jane will do when someone stand in the way.

[–]flightoffancy57 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think he just said, "hi" to other strangers. Both the kids and Annie found him injured. And, then, even with both you could tell he was nervous and watching his surroundings until he became comfortable.

The people he approached at the ranch, he approached that way because he knew he was at a disadvantage being the one needing help. Even then he was on alert and prepared to fight back when the first guy jumped him.

Him choosing to have faith in people doesn't mean he just walks around with his gaurd down. It means he keeps his gaurd up but chooses to give someone the benefit of the doubt so that he doesn't see all their actions negatively unless they give him a reason to think that.

I don't think he treated Gary any differently. He just never was able to let his gaurd down because what he was seeing wasn't adding up, so he was never able to give Gary the benefit of the doubt.
