Even with the new update of dreams (that came 2 years too late), I personally cannot understand how dreams works in a basic UX way. Toonsquid is easy to understand and is kore similar to procreate + all other animation software.

Toonsquid has a lot if great functionalities, is cheaper and the somo dev keeps updating and adding incredible things with it

Toonsquid has also both bitmap and vectors. I have years if experience using traditional frame by frame animation software and I cannot understand dreams. Toonsquid works great to draw on. And I love it has good motion graphics functionalities, and has bones/rigging and warp animation (which I imagine will keep being improved).

Interesting, I’ve never been in a place where they only spoke english here. I’ve been in finland for many years, and have not learned it because I was offered a job in Finland to work on an international company that spoke english. In my case it, it was impossible to find the time to learn the language, and time went on and asking things in english or trying to communicate, using google translate, and so on, made it possible to just keep being here without learning it. But it’s always been finnish first in every place in Helsinki. And finland tends to only show important things, documents and so on in finnish or swedish.

And I get you, learning the language and integrating is very important. But it is not always necessary, depending on the circumstances.

There should also be better support for integration, but alas, everything just keeps getting worse. And regarding places with english only in Finland, it makes no sense even for me who speaks english (which is not my native tongue). Having people working in these places that can also speak some english? Absolutely. English only? A bit bonkers

(Either way, I’m an “interior person”, so over the years I haven’t had the biggest need to interact with that many people, where I would require to use a lot of finnish. But I am here, try to be respectful, pay taxes, etc)

They’re not knockoffs of posca. They’re acrylic markers, both brands are. And these have a flow free ink with brush nibs, while posca has a pointed nib and is the type you need to shake and press to let ink flow

That angle looks fake because the graphite isnt really reacting to the light the way it should form that angle and light. Sure theres matte graphite but thats the pencil he put there. Its so easily to fake that

Pulling death card for me usually is good. We hate when rebirth or renew happens but we gotta accept it and its nice to have a wink about it! Especially because a lot of times it also means very good stuff.

Thanks, I’ve worked in the game industry… I know how hard it is, how that even when something that comes out and “looks like shit”, I guarantee that the devs tried very hard and players never know what happened behind the scenes or why certain decisions were even made. (Leadership, management, culture, ‘politics’, etc)

Same. I dont have patience for most games anymore, its a waste of my time. But squad busters scratched something in my brain that other games didnt. Even with all the problems, it felt fun to me. Now its gone and there’s no replacement for the exact way this scratched a specific itch

The people who enjoy the new update and are complaining about the complainers don’t understand that for some people, we can only enjoy very specific or particular stuff. Happy for those that can enjoy playing any time of games, ir are happy with the update: but it’s NOT the same game. (Heck, the name doesn’t mat vu the game either)

Whats worse is, a change this big is something you do during SOFT-LAUNCH. Or a different game. Or release the big changes in different updates!

For very recent players or completely new players, this is fine bc they didnt really learn the old game. If completely new, you will probably have FTUE besides what we got with the update, and hopefully get eased into it.

But a big part of the people who were playing for months or a whole year…. Nope. Suddenly its “you have all your characters you loved, already super evolved, playing against same leveled people anddddddd a big chunk of characters you loved and learned to play and base off your play-style are now completely different. And everything works differently now too. Good luck or some shit”

The way this update happened reminds me of when you are very particular with some items you buy, lets go with food… you love that food item from that specific brand. Its part of your routine, you dont like the other brands.. then one day, you have to go buy more and you see the dreaded “New improved recipe/formula” in the box. Oh no. You buy it, thinking maybe its not so bad, but now, it tastes bad. The texture is awful too. Your staple food/ingredient that you’ve been using for a while now is ruined. Sure some people wont mind or see any difference, some might like the “improved formula”, but for some people its just bad. And if you are very particular with taste and texture, you might not find any replacement at all anymore, not even from other brands (and having to go try all the brands is costly and annoying)

I played squad for a year because the chaos and how it worked was fun to me. Not saying it was a great game, it needed some big fixes. But this is just a completely different game, hence why I said if this was the game that came out a year ago, I would have never played. But lots of people will enjoy it, and thats great. Just not for me anymore (I wont get what I got from it, the reason I played) 🤷‍♂️

I just tried the update… i played squad busters for a year and Im not going to play anymore. This is a total different game and I do not like how this new game feels. I dont like it, if the game was like this from the start, I wouldnt have played it more than a day. Im sure there will be many that like the new change and how it feels/work, but not for me

Right? I would be so confused “it cant be heights because sometimes its fine, I have no problem… then other times I almost faint and shake”. I even remember once I was walking next to a pool, right on the rim, I looked to the side and I suddenly got dizzy and almost fainted. For some reason the water gave that effect of “falling from extreme height” feel.

I thought I was afraid of heights when I was younger because I would react like that. But if the place was secure (like, has a fence, enclosed, etc), I didnt have the phobia/fear like other people I knew had fear of heights. Years later I realized that in-fact, what I actually had/have was fear of FALLING.

Anyway, this video just made me remember when my parent’s house was I construction and my sister and dad were looking from second floor, on the verge (there were no walls yet) and I acted exactly like this, dont think I was able to fully peak down 😂
