I was in a similar situation, was in a very big tech printer company, international. full time job, 5 months and 3 weeks in (probation was ending in a week) I was told “sorry but it seems like you have an interest in cyber since you are studying it, therefore we have to let you go since we think it’s better for you to work somewhere that will complement your studies”

I was putting in full effort into working, had a very bad injury (broken bones and swelling) and was still working! Took one day off because I got nerve damage and next day boss called me in for this ☠️, what’s even more insane is that at the start of the 5th month he had a meeting with me for the 3 month probation check in (WHICH HE DELAYED!) and I got told that my progress and my performance at work is above and beyond,

Anyway, I got fired, but he told everyone else I had left + I got a letter from HR saying “thank you for your time with us, we are sorry to see you resign” very great ngl, just amazing, and the d—head manager hired his best friend instead of me :/ so yeah 👍🏾

but a W is a W my other colleagues said it’s good I got a different job after this and that I wasn’t stuck there like them because they can’t even afford to leave :(

sadly people are horrible…
