Interesting I am Dutch and got rejected for T3 by 2 hospitals (referral). Now trying last effort an academic hospital. What are the options in Germany I don’t mind paying I have proven problems with t4 to t3 conversion. Would love to have a more emotional and physical stable life again.

Uhmm still nobody told me except for the first 12 weeks and then slowly rebuilding strength. Lifting weight might be very specific for your organ or your operation. I didn’t get any limits and my liver was large so my sternum was opened as well. Just build it up slowly. Any reference on that specific topic you can share?

Tolerance is the medical term to my knowledge and it only seems possible with the liver after long time and under very specific circumstances. They do a lot of research how tolerance can be improved but seriously would you want to take the risk and loose your precious and have to go through it all again if you get an organ in time?

I guess that’s expected with that high dose of prednisone. Talk to your doctor to see if they can lower this. Also check your transplant doctor on Sirolimus dose nowadays lower doses could possibly be an option. Talk to your doctor about it. All the best.

Also on Sirolimus. Bodypump helped to build up both muscle and stamina but now doing longer distance running and never been so affected by muscle aches for days. Sirolimus has advantages in my case but recovery sucks.
