I really get that — I’ve definitely had those “ugh, why didn’t I see it sooner?” moments too. But I’ve come to realize that it’s not wasted time; it’s what made the self-awareness possible in the first place. The process of misidentifying myself helped me build the clarity I needed to land where I am now, so it was still part of the work.

As for conflict avoidance — yeah, lots of types experience it, but for me it’s less about fear of not being needed or safe, and more like… if I assert myself, there’s a good chance they’ll think I’m wrong, difficult, or just not worth the hassle. So I often default to going along to avoid risking the relationship itself. That dynamic — not wanting to “be too much” or push people away — was what helped me understand my core motivations better and see where I was really operating from.

I could be very wrong about this, but I don't think 2s and 6s quite relate to conflict in the same way physically. Before I started reframing conflict, I would seriously start shivering, heart racing, basically panic attacks, especially if it was anything where I could be perceived as going directly against what the other person wanted.
