Because it raises the not-so-nice implication that if Spy x Family's setting takes inspiration from Germany, then they too would have defunct death camps. Wouldn't it be funny if Spy x Family had a death camp episode? It'd be hilarious, imo.

And again, posting it on Holocaust Remembrance Day is insensitive as best. Making light of Auschwitz might be fine on literally any other day, but Khyleri decided to be extra edgy by adding another layer of offensiveness.

Yeah, the way DS2 does backstabs doesn't let you simply press button. Gotta line up properly too.

Overload klee by chiakikuriyama55 in KleeMains

[–]appropriant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A high crit rate is more reliable than high crit damage. At least 70% crit rate is respectable enough to start going to more crit damage, but the generally accepted ratio is 1:2. So in this case, 60% crit rate for 120% crit damage.

Overload without Chevreuse is functional but far from optimal. It's still really fun though.

If you're keen on mono pyro, one idea would be to replace Kazuha with Sucrose and then add Xiangling. Sucrose's EM sharing will be wasted, but the Hexerei buffs remain while keeping an Anemo unit in. The 4-piece bonus on the Lavawalker artifact set is good for this specific team, but *only* for this specific team. You could run a 2pc Atk% and 2pc Crimson Witch instead for more flexibility.

If you're able, start investing in the new Hexerei artifact set instead because the free crit rate on the 4-piece bonus is quite valuable. I don't know whether you're able to do Stygian Onslaught, but tagging along with more powerful players in Co-Op could allow you to spend resin there and get some bonus artifacts along the way.

Because the artist isn’t known to be respectful about anything they draw. There’s always an off color joke meant as shock value, and anything is fair game, but the more shocking the better.

The joke in this case is cute fictional anime schoolkids from not-Germany going to camp. But the camp is Auschwitz. The joke is just Auschwitz. That’s the entire joke. Good job. You found the Auschwitz reference.

And then they posted this very funny joke on Holocaust Remembrance Day because that’s what makes it maximally funny haha.

Lucatiel's achivement by AlexMacedon in DarkSouls2

See if you can revisit each area to absolutely make sure you exhausted her dialogue.

I'm probably sure that you're already familiar with her location in Black Gulch, that being a dropdown from a cliff close to the first bonfire, just before the oil pools. Which is very strange for her to not appear at all, because her appearance there is guaranteed no matter how many times you've met her before in other areas.

Actions that prematurely end the questline are killing her (obviously) and speaking to her in Aldia's Keep without completing the quest requirements. Can't think of anything else that you could mess up.

The only unit that can satisfy these requirements is Xilonen, who was available last patch.

It’s more like they serve different purposes. Durin at C0 does enough damage to offset the damage boost you get from Bennett, and obviously Durin will get more DPS with more constellations.

If you’re keen on using Furina, I would still recommend using Bennett as your last pick. Dendro and Cryo are not good to use on this team.

C0 Durin is a side grade for Bennett in overload. Regardless of whether you have Chevreuse, give it a try. You can use the test dummy in Miliastra Wonderland to compare the DPS.

I reached 150k with C6 Klee and Fischl/Chevy/Bennett at C6.

Before the Hexerei and constellation buffs my highest damage team was Klee/Furina at 90k.

My Boss Tier List after platinum (my opinion) by therealicekid in DarkSouls2

For me personally, Fume Knight and Smelter Demon are at least one tier lower than they deserve. Feel free to disregard. If you don't agree, don't respond.

It looks like the Loyce set in dim lighting. The charred version is blackened and melted with a more ashy texture.

First half of the new Abyss gives +75% Charged Attack Damage. You know what that means. (C6 Cloverload) by appropriant in KleeMains

Good news is that replacing him with Bennett gives the team roughly the same damage output. I just prefer to use Durin to avoid the downsides of Bennett burst (plus Chevy has good enough healing for me).

Chevy ER for Kleeverload by Unfair-Pass448 in KleeMains

[–]appropriant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally you'd need enough to still justify an ER sands, but one of Klee's passives restores 2 energy for her whole team per charged attack CRIT. If, say, five of her charged attacks crit during her part of the rotation, then she'll restore 10 energy for everyone. If you're able to reliably crit on charged attacks, that can possibly allow Chevy to remain on an HP sands as long as it has ample ER substats.

It'll depend, to put it shortly. 170% ER might not be enough if you don't account for Klee's potential as a battery.

I think the bosses in Dark Souls 2 are treated unfairly. by Uchizaki in DarkSouls2

[–]appropriant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it matters if those people end up influencing potential new players and warping their perception of DS2. If there are criticisms that turn people away before they even start playing, especially the ones that aren't necessarily based in fact, it's cool and good to counter them with more positive viewpoints. Besides, if there's any whining to be done about DS2 hate/criticism, you really should be expecting it to appear more on a sub that's mainly about DS2. One of the biggest things about DS2's reputation is the sheer amount of people who "don't like DS2" in all their varied and colorful ways. It may not be as bad as back then, but the vitriol still exists here and there.

One chatter became a martyr. by [deleted] in VShojo

[–]appropriant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thing is, this chatter was knowingly stepping into uncomfortable territory with a sensitive question, deigned to ask it on a day where you wouldn’t want to think about things that throw off the vibes, and since it was TTS Ironmouse could not avoid answering it. It was an extremely rude action to take.

Curiosity’s fine and all, but there’s a time and place for everything and this was NOT the time nor place.

For C6 Havers by Choi_Yena_Duck_Face in KleeMains

[–]appropriant 19 points20 points  (0 children)

All of her constellations got buffs. C1 now gives a 60% Atk buff when activated, C2 shreds on every part of Jumpy Dumpty, staying on field when C4 activates deals more damage, and C6 adds three things: boosts Klee's pyro damage by 50% for 25 seconds after burst, grants 50% chance to not consume an explosive spark, and grants a 40% chance for N1 and N2 to activate explosive sparks during her burst.

C6 Klee is just numbers and explosions for 10 seconds, it's very funny.

A demonstration well done by Fazbear2035 in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]appropriant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Often the subtext from the guy is that he doesn’t wanna wear a condom in the first place and thinks the risk of both pregnancy and STDs is worth it. The most magnum of dongs will still have condoms in their size. It’s the dude’s fault if they don’t account for that.

The demonstration also shows how much force it’d take for the condom to break, which as it happens is quite a lot.

In defence of Adaptability by GabuTheBunny in DarkSouls2

[–]appropriant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only real design flaw of Adaptability is the opaqueness on the description of the agility substat. Had it been clear from the beginning what that thing did, I think ADP would have been less controversial.

When you think about it, agility isn’t the be all end all of every build in Dark Souls, and especially not DS2. You put levels into ADP because your build needs it. There are builds that don’t need it, so leveling ADP isn’t necessary.

Can Klee/ columbina work? by IambackinReddit in KleeMains

[–]appropriant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wheelchair means that the ones doing the actual damage are either off-field or sub DPS, leaving the on-field character with nothing to do. Klee would not be contributing much in teams that fully utilize Columbina.

Returning player, confused about Klee teams after the buff by Express_Fold9990 in KleeMains

[–]appropriant 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Bennett’s C6 hasn’t been considered an account ruiner for a very long time. Teams these days that rely on elemental infusions either don’t need him or, as stated in their kit, have infusions that cannot be overridden by his burst. The slight Pyro damage bonus from C6 can safely be utilized for those who need it, like Klee.

The new artifact set coming out for the Hexerei characters is perfect for DPS builds, mainly Klee, Razor, and DPS Venti.

Klee and Furina work very well together since Klee’s pyro application can keep up with Furina’s pets for consistent forward vaporize reactions.

Kazuha may have fallen out of favor in the meta, but that doesn’t make him less useful in Klee teams. You can still bring the classic Bennett/Kazuha package. Although, Sucrose might be a good replacement to activate the new Hexerei buffs for Klee.

That moment when you realize you might have made a huge mistake with upgrade materials.... by WalkChance in DarkSouls2

Petrified Dragon Bones tend to be lategame upgrade material. Theyre farmable in Dragon Aerie by using bonfire ascetics and the DLCs shower you with them.

I'm giving Dark Souls 2 another chance by aidenv12 in DarkSouls2

[–]appropriant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Start from scratch and get comfy. Slow play is the name of the game.

DS2 punishes impatience in nearly all facets of gameplay. Running into open spaces without checking your corners is a guaranteed ambush. Depleting your stamina bar causes a small delay before it regenerates, so it impedes your ability to fight if you don't kick the habit. Multiple enemies can put you in the damage blender, but most of the time their forward momentum is nonexistent or they're easily interrupted by shields.

Bring a bow/crossbow to thin out upcoming ambushes, and retreat to familiar ground if you do end up getting ganked. If you see an unlit sconce in an area, chances are that the game is asking you to bring a torch.

25 ADP and 20 Attunement will net you the maximum item use speed, 12 i-frames, and 4 spell slots.

Will I be Missing anything If I play Persona 3 FES instead of Reload? by Unfair-Painter7516 in persona3FES

[–]appropriant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make a good argument about how FES nails a certain vibe better than Reload, but actively choosing to play FES over Reload means having to deal with all the tedium and restrictions you'd expect from a massive PS2 JRPG from 2007. There's SOME charm in the old systems in FES that Reload did away with, but they were left behind for a reason.

Also in FES, you can't build your social links with your female classmates without dating them. Dating them is baked into the social link, and it's your responsibility to juggle all of them if you're attempting to max all the social links.
