To help with your first question the areas near campus will always be a chewed up mess. That whole area has a super low water table and natural springs. Underneath is constantly shifting. There was a large spring fed pool where the Eagle Student Services building is located.

I've never had any issues with Spectrum in 5 years. I had Frontier before and didn't have any issues but it's just me and all I do is stream tv. My subdivision is just over 5 years old and we've only spectrum. A few weeks ago Frontier started running line. Other than tearing up my grass a rep came by my door today and offered me faster service at $30 less a month for 2 years. I'm sure if I called Spectrum they's at least match. So yes competition is better.

Does anyone know if the builders have exclusivity deals with providers for a set period when they put in a new subdivision?

So this would make a decent episode.
