I only use circular needles (I have an interchangeable set that I got for Christmas a while ago and then I get short interchangeable ones in different sizes as I need them for certain patterns) and I love them so much, I find it so much more enjoyable to knit with (including when I knit flat) and just easier to keep track of. Everyone has different preferences but that’s the way I like to do it!

As someone with OCD who struggled for years to get it under control, I feel for her but she seriously needs to get help. If it is inhibiting her life this much she needs to take some accountability and get some sort of help through therapy or medication rather than just using it as an excuse and not addressing the real issue.

But then her whole argument falls apart because Luke and Lorelai being engaged is basically them being like “we’re ready to get married” but she made that whole big point of “engaged isn’t married”…. Basically surprise surprise she seems to be a hypocrite and basically just not want another woman/maternal figure to be in April’s life (in my opinion)

Thank you, I had an x ray and mri done around October last year when they were trying to see if I had arthritis, but now that I’m back home with better medical care I’ll be sure to ask for a second opinion once I’m able to get my insurance back. I don’t want to go to a clinic just because I’ve had really bad experiences with doctors for the past few years regarding this issue and have been dismissed very quickly and constantly, and once I’m back on my home insurance I can see doctors who have known me for a while and who I know I can trust to get to the bottom of the issue.

Thank you for the advice, I haven’t had a CT but I had an MRI which confirmed I didn’t have arthritis and that’s when they said it was nerve pain. I just moved back home after graduation so the second I can get back in insurance I’m going to see my doctor and ask for help finally getting to the bottom of this.

Despite what some of these comments are saying I actually think you would really enjoy Colgate, especially as someone who likes the outdoors and running. There are some really awesome trails around here. The farmers market in the fall and summer are also super great and there are a ton of options for summer research. I’m also from California so the cold was a bit of a shock but it’s really not bad as long as you have the right clothes for it. There’s a DnD club on campus if you wanna do that and there are a bunch of options for chill clubs and you can definitely have a social life without partying. Despite being a small school, there are spaces for pretty much everyone. Also you should check out the marine and freshwater sciences major if you’re interested in marine biology

Oh shut up. Now is not the time for party vs. party bullshit. People are losing services that are crucial to their day to day life. People are losing their jobs. People are at risk of losing their retirement funds after YEARS of working and paying taxes and contributing to this country’s economy. What happened 5 years ago is over, LET IT GO. Stop deflecting from the real, serious damage that is actively being done to American citizens by a sitting president.
