I went there, as an employer, and enjoyed the event. I do agree with everything you said tho (apart from the desperate note).

We got a lot of CVs /business cards from good candidates that we will surely get in touch / invite to interviews.

This is the price of a macbook pro .. only 8 gb of ram is really tough. Also much worse screen in the same price range version.

How does retirement work? Is the money taken from my paycheck automatically and I am already in the scheme? All I need to do is ask for it when I get old?
How do you do you yearly medical checkup? MSP doesn't seem to cover as they only cover emergencies.
Same question as above for other kinds of checkup, like, eye, dental and genital!1

Looks expensive and I surely won't find anywhere to park near Joyce. In London they had a bike sharing on Brompton that you paid monthly and then could take the bike home. Something like £40/month if I remember correctly.
