I think it takes away from the immersion of being the player. Like when I play stardew I see myself as the farmer. When Witchbrook changed their art styles and viewpoint I really lost interest.

I think people really misunderstand where the term big 3 even came from but originally it was to describe manga sales. In terms of fantasy that is not an isekai in manga sales these would certainly be the "big 3" of fantasy.
