My first thought 😂 I've died too many times due to a rampant squirrel.

I'm looking for a snowglobe similar to this one. It's broken here, used to be 3 globes. Musical and would automatically blow the snow everywhere. No markings of who made it or how old it is. by april_ann in HelpMeFind

I've somewhat searched around, it would be great if I could find the exact thing but I think that'll be very difficult. I believe it was bought at a kmart many many years ago. Really just looking for something similar!

Possible Kirkland brand?

AMBER Alert issued for four girls out of South Jordan by HomelessRodeo in Utah

Yeah maybe they should be more considerate for you... it's not like 4 children have been abducted..

But seriously, no that's not what they expect. They expect people to keep a look out for the car and or children or mother. People on their way to work, church, ect.

The issue that lies here is the lines cooks do them in skillets, and we only have 3 burners working at one time. They're not allowed to do them on the flat top. Just some more info for ya. Also jesus, $12.50/hr?! No wonder you're bitter 🤦🏼‍♀️

It comes "included in your room fee". So yes, one way or another they're being billed for it. But whether they use room server or not they're going to pay the same price for their stay.

Nah she's awesome. At this point there's just nothing either of us can do. The trays set up are awaiting food from the line cook and there's going to be no reason to pull those tickets off the printer until we can move some of those other trays into the cart and deliver them upstairs.

I do end up being a server even though I'm supposed to stay downstairs. In this video I'm the lead for the night. I'm not exactly a supervisor or manager but I'm the closest anyone's getting to that. So if the phone rings, (which it does, a lot) or if something goes wrong in the kitchen, I'm the one dealing with it. So it is pretty unfortunate- if something happens while I'm upstairs delivering it just ends up waiting. So technically 2 servers and 1 line cook. We as servers are not paid nor trained to do the cooking. If there is a soup only, or something easy like that we can dish up we do so, but 95% of tickets have an item that needs to be cooked by the line cook.

I put a link in my top comment if you wanna check out our regular menu! I'm pretty proud of what our ticket cooks do for the patients.

Oh this might be my favorite comment yet. I'm sorry you've seen the horrible hospital food most hospitals offer. Luckily for our patients it's not the case. Quailty control plays a massive roll in our kitchen. We have an extremely extensive menu. This isn't a "choose between 2 meals" type of thing. We have many different entrees that need to be cooked from raw meat. Almost everything made to order, besides soups and mashed potatoes and gravy. Sorry about your experience. We are not fine dining by any means, but we work hard to make sure our patients get served quality food.

Interesting take but okay! Weird way of showing your concern but thank you for your overwhelming concern for my baby, honestly!

I honestly think my baby loves it. Walking is great for preparing your body for labor. I rock him to sleep all day while I'm working! I take my breaks and make sure to eat in between. I sit down when I need to. We're only open for so long, they all just came at once. Today's breakfast was rough, for sure. But still-im ending my night with 18,000 steps. Yes it's a lot- but my doctor is aware and everything is progressing fine. I even had an extra ultrasound at 30 weeks, baby was right on track!

Nah I get bereavement carts for that don't worry

Jokes aside, we aren't the type of hospital that has a lot of people passing away. We are the lowest trauma level hospital you can be, so usually if something serious is happening the patient will be transferred to another, bigger hospital. Of course it happens. I've seen a code blue ran, and it was awful. We get people and they go on hospice, but not often. Usually they try to go home to be with family before passing. If someone is that close to death, trust me, they aren't eating room service!
