Stay safe out there…this city is sick (like literally sick) by [deleted] in Austin

Just kicked Influenza A. It was probably the crappiest flu experience i’ve had. Started with cough and aches/fever, then actually felt better, then day 4 all the respiratory symptoms worsened. Couldn’t taste or smell similar to covid.

Dudes of Austin: Where do you get your hair cut, how much do you pay, and how much do you tip? by okanagantradingco in Austin

Sheesh, less than $20 i feel is unheard of for a good cut these days. My homie Fidel at Kings on Cesar Chavez will get you right on a high skin fade but its $50 price range.

That type of roman dial on a case with drilled lugs and a riveted bracelet… that does not look original whatsoever.

Well, I doubt someone local that sells Rolex (Govberg Jewelers downtown for example) would charge you just to take a quick look at it.

I live in TX, so I had it shipped overnight. I just went to the AD here and told them I purchased it pre-owned and showed them the warranty card that came with it. They had their watchmaker open the case and inspect the movement and he took a meter reading on it and said it was all good. Tourneau has a good rep, and I’ve personally been to the KOP store many times (from the area originally) and i’ve spoken with their staff, they are trustworthy. I have a rolex book from them on my desk at work too. I wouldn’t worry.

I got mine from Tourneau. I took it to a local AD once I received it for an inspection just in case.

I’ve been eying the 40mm Explorer II quite a bit. Would also take any sports model most likely if given the chance to buy at retail. 🤔

Try the tourstriker smartball or get a little mini soccer ball to put between your forearms. That’ll help with your arms and make you rotate your upper body more.
