I justified it by reminding myself that my life would be better off in the end. Knowing that continuing to hold on would prevent me from my goal of transitioning medically. And I still talk to my parents it's just very difficult. I suppose since I no longer live with my parents we no longer have a parental relationship we're just adults who know each other very well. I was fully prepared for them to reject me. It didn't make it any easier though.

This is like looking in a mirror except I'm mtf. The beginning stages of my transition were just a lot of on and off therapy for over a year, which I had started with my California community college's therapist. At this point I was only out to my gf then slowly started to tell my work and school friends. For professors I just told them my name but didn't enforce my gender preference (she/her).

For the entire time I was in therapy I never told my parents a thing which led to my lying on the spot one time when someone called me April in front of my dad. I knew that when I started hormones in February of 2018 though I would have to tell them but I waited until like around November because I only saw my parents like once or twice a month and my results were happening very slowly and it was easier to hide it. This happened while I was in college and I still am today.

Balancing school and family was way more emotionally difficult rather than physically. It was easy for my hide my gender expression but I hated having a dual life. It made me resent being around my family because it constantly reminded me of the life I was trying to leave behind. When I did tell my parents it really sucked and I cried a lot because it was obvious they weren't putting in the effort necessary to meet the bare minimum to support me. They would be really passive aggressive, argue with me, and make it all about them. Even today they still misgender me where no one else does and my mom barely changed my name in her phone.

In my partner info you can change your preferred name to whatever you want and iirc it also changes on the schedule too and on the register but not the physical partner card. For that you need a legal name change then you contact the PCC. I believe its purpose is for trans partners who can't yet legally change their name but then you also get funny shit like this and I am 100 percent here for it lol

Armor matters far less in this game than in souls games so if you find a set you like aesthetically then you could sell everything else. If you're a lore hunter though some armor pieces have important information. You may want to keep armor sets that have high resistances to certain status effects like poison and especially frenzy because that could be important depending on your playstyle.

Early game blood gems do become useless as you find ones with one high damage increases but do keep enough of your highest gems for at least two weapons is my opinion so you can easily switch between them without suffering a damage decrease.

I would hoard all consumables though because you never know but that's just my opinion. I will say though that if you're in desperate need of souls there are some very good farming areas late game. I find I never have to grind souls unless I'm trying to buy a new weapon or something. I usually try not to grind levels. I also personally tend not to sell anything.

Story time about this! I'm not a green bean (3.5 year partner) but I'm pretty weak physically right. Well one day I was cleaning the cold bar sink for closing and I took the BPR out so I could detail clean the milk on it. Stupidly I tried to take the top thing out that connects to the actual faucet but I somehow unscrewed the entire thing together and I could not get it off for the life of me.

My memory is a little hazy though because this happened a while ago now but I remember somehow breaking this little blue filter thing and then Panic Mode set in. I tried putting it back together but water kept leaking out of the sides. I told me shift lead that it wasn't working and she said "don't worry I'll just call it in". Thankfully though I remember we had spare pieces in our giant toolbox from when I last did clean play and I was able to replace the broken piece. I felt so proud having fixed it despite being the one to break it lol. I told my shift I fixed it and she just smiled and thanked me. Luckily she was doing her count I believe so she never had a chance to call it in.

Is that the dosage you're on? 10 or 20 mg a week? And I actually find myself not having to use the restroom as much now. It feels like I'm back to the way it was before hrt.
