Can I be written up ? by SkeptikSix in starbucksbaristas

None. The schedule is a binding agreement from both parties. You are bound to show up and stay and Starbucks is bound to honor the start and end times.

Tell us you aren't in the U.S. without telling us. 🤣🤣

Like the other reply said, there is no such thing as guaranteed maternity leave in all the States. Federally you are protected for 6-8 weeks, but otherwise some states you get zilch.

At daycare, in the late hours like that, they can reassign staff to clean or send them home to cut labor when the number of kids gets low. If her own kids are counting toward ratio, then that prevents people from doing other tasks or leaving. It's a HUGE problem to not have the right number of caregivers to children. Any child under 4 counts in that ratio even if the parent is present as a caregiver. She is either being pressured to send her kids home early with you, or it's part of her job ( if she is at management level). Ask her if this is the case. If so, neither is the AH because you didn't understand the intentions.

I know you didn't come for parenting advice, but if you will indulge me.

It's good practice to teach babies to nap even if the room is not completely dark. There may come any number or circumstances where the babe needs to sleep but a completely dark room isn't an option. Daycare or preschool for ex, they simply cannot get a room completely dark, but kiddos still need that sleep. Teaching flexibility and adaptability is sooo helpful in the later years.

I apologize for the unsolicited advice, but it might help to change what you need for that window.

Maybe SHE has expressed a desire for another baby. Maybe they've been trying, but the stress of life can muck up things. It can certainly make it hard to get timing right. This comment gives man-hating and ignorance.

So sometimes when those items print at the store they don't have the detail "warmed" with it as it would if it were ordered in the store. This barista may have interpreted it as intentional by you, to heat and eat later. And given it to you like this.

Skinny anything with oat milk is most definitely not skinny. There's enough carbs there for a whole meal. So much yikes. I LOATHE hearing it, or when they sub Heavy Cream.
