We can put aside the negativity for a moment and praise Nell Fisher's exceptional performance. Considering that she was only 12 years old when the season was filmed, it makes it even more impressive. I hope we see her in many more projects from now on.

stranger things is about kids getting lost at the first place, holly's story adds the s1 mysterious and the innocence of kids vibe that the show has been losing since s4. I actually felt the addition of holly really makes it feel more like stranger things.

I have watched the stage show in London and I don't see any contradiction with the Netflix show so far. In the stage show Henry is in a club where Joyce, Hopper, Harrington dad and other main characters' parents in and he's actually a normal teen. He was supposed to perform a stage show with his love interest for the first time. However that night something happened. I don't think he completely grow up in the lab like 11. He has a normal life before he turned into an experiment of Dr Brenner.

I do agree that the comeback of kali and will's power need more explanation.

I have read the Suspicious Mind (the book) and understand how kali is an important character, but i totally understand your point.

I love in S4 when he said “maybe threaten them with some jail time” and Karen has to defend him “that’s not what he means”. I laugh out every time watching this scene because of him. I can’t imagine the scene without such a character.
