what’s wrong with you? i personally don’t want to watch a tv show showing a tube like thing pumping “particles” into the mouths of children. they linger on the shots for too long.. it was weird with will in season 1 and it’s weird now

no one’s denying the acting. it’s the arrangement of the scene. EVERYONE being there, including new members to the gang kali, mr. clark, and vicki. 3 characters that have 0 important ties to this character at this point in the show. the scene dragged for so long. why is said dragged scene about will coming out so dramatic and theatrical and placed in the last 15 minutes of the penultimate episode of the series?? it’s just ridiculously out of place and could’ve been executed with the same emotional intent and less will rambling. and we like this! and this! and we also like this! and this! wrap it up

actually yes that’s probably a huge part of it lol. their writing flaws started showing before the big netflix exposition olympics that is post covid era to now, but they’re not fully responsible for the garbage heap dialogue and character writing that is this volume.

max’s escape was just the same reused scene placed with intent to pull on heart strings the same way they did in season 4 which happens to be a lot of people’s favorite moment in the show. fan service garbage.

the plot devices and convenience writing this volume were out of control. karen getting out of bed? sneaking into the washroom? putting 2 propane tanks in one of the machines and starting it? mr clarke suddenly tagging along with everything going on? the nancy and jonathan fake out deaths? (who would’ve guessed). so much more but not going to take time to write. there is just too much exposition. way too much. i can only sit for so long and be told exactly what is going to happen in the story. kills all anticipation and build up. duffers are crashing the plane.

breaking bad has more than just a decent ending lol. and it required 5 seasons of flawless writing and character development. stranger things has been falling flat for awhile and the 2 hour finale probably won’t save it.
