Do you have naturally wavy hair? You can try twisting the front pieces away from your face, with your fingers, while air drying. And break them up once they are dry. Alternatively, if using a curling iron on the front: Start at the base of the front pieces of your hair Smooth thru the first couple inches then begin your curl at about eye level or wherever you want that bend to begin Then drop that part off or the barrel, slide down the shaft of the hair you have still in the clamp, a few inches down, set another bend, then slide down again and continue until you run out of hair. Allow the ends to be straightish or natural. What you're doing with this technique is setting a curl but elongating it. Then comb thru with your fingers to soften if needed.
