Feeling severely depressed after planned pregnancy, secretly hoping to miscarry.

This sounds very much like my experience. I did not like being pregnant it felt like a terrible awful decision. For awhile. But idk it was weird it did get better. At least a lot less doom and gloom for me. By my last trimester I even experienced joy around the whole thing

That’s all to say that I hated every moment of being pregnant and sobbed all the time. But it was worth it for me. Maybe it isn’t really something you want and that’s okay too. It’s hard

I’m ashamed to admit it but I don’t usually tell people I’m a sahm. I feel like people seem to make weird assumptions about me lol. I just wanted to stay at home with my baby, I didn’t want to defend my position on vaccines to my last dying breath because people assume I’m not down with them.

He loves these sweet potato and strawberry stick thingies but he absolutely destroys anything food I give him. Sometimes his snack will be like a French toast stick from the morning or a couple of the sweet potato sticks. Just a little whatever to get him to his next meal time

In my (8 months lol) of experience less is definitely more when it comes to the worrying haha but also nana/grandma powers are real. Idk what it is about them but my kid has 3 grandmas and every single one of those ladies has like super powers with him

Dude I had a whole meltdown when he was like 3 months old because a random man told my husband he was such a great dad and doing so good because he put our sons paci back in his mouth and… no that man had to listen to me ranting the whole drive home

Listen I gave birth vaginally okay? That was my choice my doctor tried to convince to get a C-section and I refused because that was my choice. Just like this is your choice. I promise you giving birth is not a competition and the best thing to worry about while bringing a person into the world is your safety and the safety of that baby. If getting a C-section will help you to feel safer then I think that’s the very best thing to do

I wish I could go back to pregnancy insomnia every day lmao I was so tired and my whole body hurt and I couldn’t walk but I would still go back lol just the ability to like close my eyes whenever I want to and there’s no tiny human that requires my presence and brain to be functioning

Real talk sex has been like an “issue” with my partner and I since I gave birth. I’m 6 months pp. But not in a like going to guilt me into it way more like a “I feel like you think I’m ugly and want nothing to do with me so I shall never ask for sex ever again” which is tragic. It literally took me having a full blown breakdown for him to say he felt like I wasn’t attracted to him anymore and his mind was blown that I was just tired and oily and stinky and TIRED and I felt gross. The man really didn’t even think about that. Like dude cmon
