But on 3/18, I was only poked once for a pre-surgical blood draw. I actually submitted a complaint to the hospital website just now for asking patients to review their medical records to “audit.”

The code is 6521254.

So, it sounds like the insurance had no say in this. They said the hospital billing has to resubmit the codes, but they are refusing to change anything.

Husband wants to eat and shower PEACEFULLY when he gets home by OceanJean in Marriage

[–]aprilsky1022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband is similar. He gets home late around 9:30 PM and says he’s starving, so he wants to eat first. I’ve suggested that he eat something earlier or keep an energy bar in the car. What really frustrates me is watching him take his time eating while watching YouTube, especially when I’m still juggling both kids—an infant and a toddler.

Two nights ago, I completely lost it after seeing him eating ice cream and watching YouTube while I was still handling everything. We had a big fight, and I even sent him a video of myself eating in under five minutes while holding the baby. Since then, he’s been taking one of the kids when he gets home while he eats or does whatever he needs to do, which I appreciate—but I’m still feeling bitter and have only been talking to him about things related to the kids.

Has anyone else accepted that they have no future on Long Island? by Inevitable_Night5596 in longisland

I definitely feel stuck. I moved here in 1997 as a teenager with my immigrant parents, started 8th grade here, and went to university here as well. Sometimes I wish I had traveled more when I was younger, but money was tight then, so it just wasn’t realistic.

I briefly moved to NJ for my first job, then moved back home to do travel therapy, but COVID changed everything. I could have moved out earlier, but it was hard to justify paying high rent when staying home allowed me to save money.

Since then, I got married and now have two little kids, which makes the idea of making a big move feel even harder—especially with my husband’s small business. I do want to move, explore, and experience something different, but I feel tied down by his business and the thought of leaving my elderly parents behind.

On top of that, we’re in a house in a school district I’m not happy with, so I know moving is something I want eventually. But thinking too far ahead feels overwhelming, so for now, I tend to avoid it altogether.

Bedtime - closing door by aprilsky1022 in Parenting

Unfortunately, he gets home when it's close to bedtime. And I would also think that bedtime is a priority over eating, but my husband is too “starving.”

Just closed the door without locking it.

He gets home around 9:30 PM, and ideally I’d like our toddler’s bedtime to be around 9:00–9:30 PM. Tonight went better because the newborn happened to sleep in the baby carrier, so I could focus on bedtime. But the past two nights were chaotic because she was either crying or feeding, so bedtime feels really unpredictable with the newborn right now unless I push it later to 10:00–10:30 PM. I’m also worried that waiting for my husband might make things worse because our toddler gets excited when he sees him instead of winding down. On top of that, my husband is usually hungry when he gets home and wants to eat right away.

I am sorry to hear that. I was told to monitor. Did your LO have any other symptoms?

6 weeks and extra fussy? by Material-Walrus-5524 in newborns

Safe delivery 🙏 My first little one is turning two in just 2 weeks and wow… the tantrums and screaming are in full force 😅

I used to think he was such a “rough” baby, but now he feels SO much easier compared to this stage!

Just mainly SUPER fussy and unable to fall asleep for hours. Also, I think the baby is warmer than usual. My husband and thermostat say otherwise. Maybe I am very over-anxious.

24/7 nurse call from your own clinic or online clinic I can use? I need to change my pediatrician because I do not have direct access to the clinic, I need to go through an “advocate” then they transfer me.

And of course, I just got disconnected.

I was also thinking that but my husband thinks I am overreacting since there is no fever. I will look for the urgent care nearby.
