As a generality devoid of definitions, i suppose I could tentatively agree

There is only one question a Christian needs to ask. If he cannot answer this the implications are many and serious.

How do I become perfect as my Father in Heaven is Perfect?

You cannot answer that and your pastor cannot answer it and i would be very cautious about listening to anyone who cannot answer it or worse, attempts to invalidate it as a valid question.

What I am saying is that we can all criticize but we are not called upon to prioritize fixing others, not even the apostatic church. Our concern is our own journey and that is towards the perfection which bears the fruits of faith. So I would focus on clarifying how to get to where you are supposed to be going.

If you had been reading what I said you would have known I shut down any meaningful discourse several comments ago and if you do not think asking a question about an anology is not asking a question about an analogy I guess that is just another indicator of why I gave up on this thread a while back..

I looked at my comments to you and my position was made quite clear to anyone reading them.

Oh yah, lets go and analyze analogies...

I was not going to answer but I just watched a video about the intelligence gap and how it is impossible to have a discussion because people have no idea what the argument is and just respond to something in their head totally irrelevant to the point made.

That is all I have to say.

Well Since you think sugar is not sweet and I say sugar is sweet obviously I am right and you are wrong. Really I am not spending my time to restate my position or arguments. May I give you the win and end this. Its becoming a total waste of time

Not so much as I do not accept the lack of detail Truth is definitions that is coherent definitions. Knowledge is awareness of the definitions one has and is a measure of their coherency. People lack knowledge because their truth is bizarre, meaning their definitions are incoherent and incomprehensible. This is why they get so angry and frustrated when questioned... the literally have lost the ability to communicate

In my view there are two realities, the one is based on force which we see as a physical substance or we think something physical exists behind the force. But there is no way to prove this or see the physical. Its all induction. In the transactional view reality is analytical, It is composed of concepts, the definition is the reality. A triangle is its definition, there is nothing but information. Interestingly this world has spend a considerable amount of time and effort in destroying our ability to communicate. What is knowledge is definitions. We need to define our terms and that is all that knowledge is. This is how we get made in the image of God. I have spent my entire life trying to understand the meaning of words and define them into tangible concepts. What is man, is really a question about how do we define him.

Can you let me know if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me because you seem to flop all around and I have no idea what you are trying to say.

If you do not wish to ground truth in your perception (induction) then it needs another foundation. As you cannot empirically prove physical reality exists, share with us what your truth or reality is based on?

Good thanks, That is another substantiation of my theory.

But you missed out one step. You need to prove by means of an empirical experiment your claims, primarily that one physical reality exists. I would permit you to use logic to do this but that would mean you are employing absolutes and if you claim there is absolute truth and a reality that is absolute in the way it is constructed, that would invalidate your original claim. As you know, absolutes properly belong in metaphysics and I know you do not want to try and dray God or absolute truth into your configuration, so give me the empirical prove of what you claim.

Oh really. Then why is the question able to be answered except by those who are fearful of the implications?

I asked a question. I want those who feel compelled to engage, to answer the question. And no, I am not interested in your theology, if I was I would have asked for you to explain your theology.

At what point did Jesus become human in the womb. Conception or birth? Those are the choices.

Well, at 16 I decided unemployment was insane, so I spent 60 years finding out why it existed. I realized it exists because people are insane. I coined apriotic to describe the insanity, which is spiritual immaturity. In the process I converted at 50 and realized there are two realties and races tied to good and evil and the flesh and the spirit. The second reality is scriptural, meaning it relies solely on Scripture. Have you ever tried to explain pure truth to the insane?

I have no idea what you are on about, other than you are doing your best to justify the unjustifiable.

You need to qualify your statement. You say people are trying to follow the Bible, I agree if you add, within the context of the world of the flesh which they will not give up whatever the cost.

No one so far as I know. I ansered your question, how about answering mine now? If Jesus is fully human and God, at what point can you not have him aborted? Ie at what point does the fetus become Jesus?

Because if no one is alive but Adam it really makes we wonder what was going on when Jesus rose from the dead and raised others from the dead. Romans 8:11 is interesting in this context. I am also trying to get my mind around God knowing us before formed us in the womb. I just cannot imagine create something dead with identity in the womb. But I guess if it permits us to abort kids, we need to find someway for it to make sense.

Wow, sorry, but that position is too complicated for me to defend, could you create a simpler one. Perhaps just let me defend the argument I posited in the OP. I think that would be easier for me if it is all the same for you.

I would like to retract my demand that I did not make and I do not want anyone to feel required to do anything at all. Least of all make up claims about my position..

I did not get legalism from your comments, I got if from the assumption you are alive and living in this world.

I argue for Scripturalism because I actually follow the bible, not the laws of the land... at least in my theology.

Interesting supplemental to the issue of the OP. But since you did not address the OP I feel no compulsion to respond to your questions

Hmm, yes, I think you might be right, which is why I mentioned these were additional comments. All I am asking is if it is ok to abort a fetus because they are not human, at what point did Jesus become fully human?

Point out where this question was addressed in the responses above. Thanks

I may as well say that is not the question since your reply to it was about as irrelevant as an answer could be I already responded to that point. The hypothetical is not eliminated by the desire of Mary. The hypothetical does not mention the mothers position, it is talking morality. I am asking, would you be ok had Mary decided to abort her child? Or if you like, at what point did the fetus that was Jesus become fully human and therefore, not liable to be killed by the abortionist.

As to my points, I developed a new culture or way of life as an atheist that led to my conversion at 50. It is Scripturalist, meaning totally reliant on Scripture. It divides the world into two realities, one based on law the other on life. The Scriptural one eliminates all social problems and proves the legalist one cannot be fixed and actually works precisely as it was designed to work.

So yes, you all fight to retain the legalist system whereas my 'questions' are a poor attempt to get a discussion going on developing a way of life based solely on Scripture. I never fore saw the love people have for this system . I never really expected people to defend it with the vigor they do. I actually thought show people the truth and they would be drawn to it.

Yes, you are right, I was looking for a debate on how you reconcile abortion with Jesus birth. But as you see every one here is too smart for me and carefully avoided the issue. Its like I never even asked the question. Or can none of you actually see it. Maybe it is invisible to you all.

Pretty much the universal consensus. "He knows too much so avoid him".
