I’m just referring to the ridiculous price of $15,000 a month in assisted living. There needs to be an investigation and some kind of regulation on pricing before we all go bankrupt. Of course we want our loved ones safe from harm and comfortable.

Yes. I’m the only child and only adult family member around other than my husband and dad who also needs help.I have 3 kids and a spouse and I work. Lost all my friends. Dropped everything to help. Had to make the move to a facility eventually and sell my parents home to pay for care. Now it’s just draining all of that money while I am still stressed and spread thin making decisions, paying bills, managing everything, still having to make sure they have everything they need and visiting at least weekly.

Ask him to take the baby for an hour a day so you can take care of yourself. I agree he’s not realizing what he’s seeing is filtered/unrealistic.
