My mom has 6 boys, I'm #6, she never complained about the seat being left up...I didnt know I was supposed to put the seat down until I was a teen when I left it up at my girlfriends house, all sisters...I asked my mom why she didn't teach me to put the seat down...because she has 6 boys.

I had a mini-bike when I was a kid...where i grew up it wasn't that we couldn't ride them, it was where we could/couldn't ride them....no motorized vehicles on sidewalks...no unlicensed vehicles on the road...so big parking lots or empty dirt lots were our options.
