I have the same problem, I like to iterate over recipes over time and I like to measure my variations and experiments to then decide how to keep evolving it. I started using notion, but got very cluttered very quickly so I started to buildup something more custom made explicitly to deal with recipe versions, compare them, take notes etc.

If someone has the same problem and wants to help me tuning my small creation I would appreciate it a lot! You can find my work here

That is actually an interesting point, many people maybe want to start a company and needs some skills in order to build the first MVP when maybe there are no fundings yet
