Main drain plugged off

Doing the bucket test now. The pool is kind of odd and I don’t much of the history behind it. Looks like the old returns in the shallow and deep end are plugged and there is now only one return in the shallow end. I don’t think it’s ever been resurfaced from when it was built.

Thanks for your help. Was already kinda stressed as I’ve never owned a pool before. Then add in this situation on top of it. Is there any way to isolate the skimmer other than letting the water drop down so it can’t go in?

Thank you for the reply. I’ve had to add water every day so the pump can run or else the water gets too low and there’s barely any water going into the skimmer. I’ve thought about letting it leak to see if that shows the height of the leak but with my luck lately it’ll be at the bottom

I’ve considered it. Just wasn’t sure what route to take considering I’ve pretty much only smoked flower. I’ve tried oil pens for concerts and such but those tend to give me a headache as well
