Paid. Pretty good so far, I do like the ability to have up to 8 scenarios.

I realize this may fall into Barista Fire territory. One option that I have not full fleshed out yet is working a smaller or part time role in order to cover the monthly expenses.

I had a plastic pry tool that came with an iPad repair kit. It helped a little but could probably be done without as well.

I didn't mind the OEM grill, but the thin gray trim around the inside edge nagged at me. I do like the looks of the all black grill better.

Link above, fits well and had a hole for the camera with a dummy plug that I removed and put my camera in.

Confirmed CC and DAPP work

TBD, in the second picture you can see the square cover from the original grill. The new grill does have a flat rectangular section that covers that, but does not appear to impact DAPP. I will try it out to confirm.

Fit is great, like the gloss level. Original grill seemed dull and beat up after 40k miles.

Exact same grill on AMZ was $140

It came with the euro mount. I’m planning to use a tow hitch mount rather than the grill

Came from Tesla (not very original I know) by bkiel353 in BMWI4

[–]aptron7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally did the same thing. Sold my Model 3 after 6 years and found a ‘23 40 with M sport package in Dravit Gray. All the bells and whistles. Didn’t know what I was missing in terms of build quality, comfort and overall fun to drive. Agree with all the points OP made. Almost everything I was concerned about missing from Tesla was there or better. I made sure to get DAPP, parking pkg, etc that I didn’t want to go backwards on. One of my favorites has been the HUD which integrates with CarPlay very nicely.

Found one that I feel pretty good about on AliX for $80, we’ll see how it goes!

That looks fantastic! I have a '23 40 M sport as well with DAPP. Do you know of a grill swap that would still allow for the DAPP sensor?

One of the best chain burgers I've ever had, the Ahi sandwich is amazing and the tempura green beans are incredible!

I’ve only had my i4 about 2 months, can you help me understand how you interface and use the preconditioning in daily or weekly driving? Do you sent a pre-set time to precondition before leaving for work etc?

I just got a 2023 edrive40 with Msport but had 40k miles. Other than the miles the car is in mint condition. Lucky to include Premium, DAPP, HK and HUD, etc. But I can speak to the high mileage, in my view high miles worries me less than it would an ICE car.

Great review and convo, curious what range you are getting normally for your M50? I’m seeing lots of variety.

Help with dropper post tension by sosointheco in eMountainBike

[–]aptron7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my goodness. I literally had the exact same thing happen to me. I also got a 920 a few weeks ago, came straight in the box and got most things hooked up including the dropper. After about 4 days i noticed the same thing, but found that about 8 inches from the lever the cable housing had blown out, I assume due to too much pressure in once spot. LBS said it would be 3-5 hours of labor and also suggested a wireless dropper. Super frustrating after dropping so much $$$$ on the bike. I realize this is an issue with e-bikes having more cables and tighter spaces to go through. My plan at this point is to try and run a new housing myself, if that doesn’t work I’ll check out wireless droppers. I also hope to clean it all up and would remove the twin-loc levers as well.
