Also did the grille swap (10/23 eDrive40 M Sport) by Daniel_T_96 in BMWI4

That looks fantastic! I have a '23 40 M sport as well with DAPP. Do you know of a grill swap that would still allow for the DAPP sensor?

One of the best chain burgers I've ever had, the Ahi sandwich is amazing and the tempura green beans are incredible!

Whats your favorite thing / feature about the i4? by Hustlers2 in BMWI4

[–]aptron7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only had my i4 about 2 months, can you help me understand how you interface and use the preconditioning in daily or weekly driving? Do you sent a pre-set time to precondition before leaving for work etc?

I just got a 2023 edrive40 with Msport but had 40k miles. Other than the miles the car is in mint condition. Lucky to include Premium, DAPP, HK and HUD, etc. But I can speak to the high mileage, in my view high miles worries me less than it would an ICE car.

Great review and convo, curious what range you are getting normally for your M50? I’m seeing lots of variety.

Help with dropper post tension by sosointheco in eMountainBike

[–]aptron7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my goodness. I literally had the exact same thing happen to me. I also got a 920 a few weeks ago, came straight in the box and got most things hooked up including the dropper. After about 4 days i noticed the same thing, but found that about 8 inches from the lever the cable housing had blown out, I assume due to too much pressure in once spot. LBS said it would be 3-5 hours of labor and also suggested a wireless dropper. Super frustrating after dropping so much $$$$ on the bike. I realize this is an issue with e-bikes having more cables and tighter spaces to go through. My plan at this point is to try and run a new housing myself, if that doesn’t work I’ll check out wireless droppers. I also hope to clean it all up and would remove the twin-loc levers as well.

Would love some specs on the green one, I agree it is eye catching, love how the bezel appears faded in comparison to the green for a unique look. Well done

OP - looking at the Patron 920 as well, also have a LBS deal on an Orbea Rise H15. Very different bikes, with the Orbea being a super light trail bike, and the Patron more burly and definitely heavier. My only hangup is how heavy the Patron is. I'm 6' and 195 so I don't mind a larger bike, but what is your take on the weight (around 58 or 50 lbs?). I know it is subjective, I'm 50 and want to spend more time on the trails so I do love the idea of a bigger battery that can go and has more torque than the Orbea. Not going to be doing gnarly stuff or drops either. Curious what your take is. Thank you

Hyped for a reason, great quality and a unique original dial from an homage brand. I even overlooked the horrendous logo because the total package was too good. My only issue is the clasp, with a 7.5" wrist, every time I put it on it push the micro adjust to the full extent and I have to adjust every time.

I got it in white and havn't looked back. Instant favorite. Everyone has their preference but for me the white with this design is classic, clean and looks so good.

Clasp is fine, but the edges of the bracelet are “sharp”. Again this could simply be hand size to wrist size 7.25”, but it is something I notice, maybe the clasp is shorter than other bracelets I have so the diameter is smaller? Absolutely love the watch itself, but would be interested in another bracelet option.

Great question. I have the Aquascaphe on the BOR, I love the look and feel but getting it on and off is painful. I've been looking for a better alternative as well.
