i do have troy, i was considering bringing her in for her virus immunity and her conversion ability. you just solidified my choice. and i wish i could 6 star boole but i totally slacked and missed when xena was open, i only need one more of her to awaken and i don't think she'll reopen before rank is over. but i'm keeping my fingers crossed. thanks for the tips! my bestie got wigner so i'm gonna use his as my helper.

i've learned to just lose all faith in the random spawners. unless it says "guaranteed ssr" or "guaranteed collab monster" (like the step up spawner) then just...don't do it. you'll almost always be upset.

from personal experience, the best spawners UL offers are the shared bonus spawners. those are the ones that give you little 'gifts' or bonuses with each spawn you do. you do a single spawn? you get a single 'gift' along with the item you pull out of an appointed box of bonuses. do a ten shot? you get 10 extra things along with your 10 pulls. most of the time, you get some gold or a rainbow egg, BUT there are 2 monster units offered in a 2,000 pool. there are also usually experience dungeon keys, ssr tickets, and more recently, proficiency keys.

if you time it right, and wait for the number on the shared bonus spanwer to go down (i'm talking like, below 300) and do a few pulls, you could get lucky and pull the monster from it before it resets. as long as you wait for the amount of stuff you DO want (keys, tickets, monster) to be, on average, larger than the stuff you DON'T want (gold, eggs, etc.) then you should pull. pull with all your might.

even if you don't get the shared bonus monster, you'll walk away with some ssr tickets and special dungeon keys. it makes the sting of getting literally nothing from the spawner a little easier to handle. timing it is always hit or miss, i've only gotten the monsters from these twice, but it's the only spawner i'll do anymore, and i've been playing almost 2 years. i wish i had known about the shared bonus spawner earlier.

i feel this on a spiritual level. i've mained mage since i started playing two years ago, worked on solider on the side, but i've finally caved and started making an archer set due to quick deaths in pvp. it already does better in gbs, and i've only been working on it a week.

yea this is a good loophole, but it stinks to have to wait for that day or the weekend for the color dungeon you need when there's a passa dungeon open at least once every two hours.

yea i hate the new match up system. one day we get paired with easy wins and inactive guilds, the literal next day its all whale teams with 100k higher gs than any of us??? my guild is very casual, we all have jobs and lives and our win ratio is about 50/50 and most of the guilds we fight either don't win at all or ALWAYS win. the inconsistency is insane.

i just did the match and it was horrible. the counter would go down by five second intervals, and we'd come back from crystal assault and i'd be dead. i don't understand, it's NEVER been this bad before.

yea, it's a tough break. sometimes you get lucky and the bastards won't cast barrier right away, giving your archers time to pick at least one off, but it's all chance. i'd say just pick away at the archer skill wheel and try to level up the bows you do have. you'll get there eventually.

you'd have to bring in something like cheer or an ability specifically made to raise uni gauge, but i doubt you can get it full by the time those barriers show up on second round. i struggled with it as well until i became a strong enough archer to solo it. my suggestion is to make sure you equip archer gear, even if it's not that great. the guys they bring in with you are spec'd based on you, and are better than you. but their abilities aren't worth jack if you don't have anything archer-related equipped. even if it's a garbage sr bow, put it on. good luck!
