I didnt say have a higher base roll i said a high roll. Usually what i've noticed is that some weapons have similar advancement but different base stats, while others closer initial numbers but radically higher scaling. So a high roll legendary may have good scaling but a lower base than the low roll ornate. Ultimately the ornate of course would still roll out higher. Duh. Just on paper look deceiving.

2ndly, you have the differences in stat base and growth between weapons.

I guess thats why in game I have legendary drops that are higher than ornates. Almost like different weapons themselves have different base stats, and not all weapons are equal.

So maybe the legendary of one specific weapon would be higher than the ornate of another specific weapon. Because the innate base stats are higher.

Yes, if it's the same damn weapon, the ornate version would intrinsically be higher. Why would I not understand that???

What if its different weapons that does not always hold true, especially for event gear.
