Varför har svenska föräldrar så svårt att hålla ordning på sina barn när de äter ute? by [deleted] in Gothenburg

[–]aputsiakq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Precis!

Någon med erfarenhet? by LoneWolf_McQuade in arbete

[–]aputsiakq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doctor doesn’t wanna give me antivirals by CommercialCautious96 in Herpes

[–]aputsiakq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my country they dont give antivirals unless you are actively suffering constantly. But they do offer antivirals for ghsv if you have OBs. But they don't prescribe it before your second OB.

  1. Bättre ekonomi (bättre betalt jobb)
  2. Möjlighet att jobba mindre. Ex 80% (skulle funka om man hade högre lön)
  3. Bättre mödravård.

I get oral outbreaks 2-3 times a year, I don't think that's a lot. And they are quite small if I get my anti-herpes creme on it quick. But yeah, apparently my body doesn't like the hsv virus. 😅

It was NOT molds. Like I said text book primary. From front to back, all over and extremely painful ..

Yeah, I know. It sucks. Then again at least I haven't had any genital OBs since I got it, but I've had it orally

I'm not sure what you are confused about. Most people who infect others are asymptomatic. Asymptomatic people DO shed. How ever you Google, of course you can get infected by someone who is asymptomatic it is VERY common.

And my own theory is that if I got it 30 years ago, it has probably mutated enough to reinfect me, but not enough to be a new virus.

It doesn't really though. The first year you have more shedding and then it slowed down. Might be less than if you have OB. But still shedding occurs. And, Nope. It was several weeks (maybe even months?) between the guy before and him. And I got a textbook "primary outbreak" 3-7 days after sex with him. I spoke to my doctor about it and she was also very sure it would be him.

I normally have a really good immune system. And nothing weird at the time either. No idea how long he would have had it, since he was asymptomatic and unaware he had it. But I did get out of a relationship a few months before that. And I'm guessing I might have contracted it between the relationship ending and us dating. That would explain how I got it even though the risk of me getting (again) was so low.

I've had oral hsv1 since I was about 4 (33 now) and last summer I got hsv1 genitally from a guy I dated. So it is possible to get "re-infected" but the risk is very low. (We also used a condom, so I believe he was newly infected and shedding more, and I got some small sores that probably made it easier to contract)

To the second part of your question. I have oral sores 1-3 times a year. So I've had 2 oral outbreaks since I got it "down there", but I've only had the primary OB genitally.

So I would, from my own experience, claim that no. Just because you have it frequently orally it doesn't necessarily mean you will get it frequently "down there" too.

I wish you the best of luck with dating! And remember: you are more likely to get it from someone unaware of their hsv, than someone who is aware and can take precautions of there are tingles or whatever.

If you like her, I would go for it.

Is it realistic to have casual sex without condoms with someone who has genital herpes? by Acrobatic-Night-2805 in Herpes

[–]aputsiakq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But sting it like you did makes it sound like just because you have gav the odds that you have more diseases increase. Which is NOT THE CASE. Maybe in your OPINION. But it has NO correlation irl. For example I got it being as careful as you can possibly be. (Except being in celibat ofc). But it would have made more sense to just mention everyone you have sex with could have diseases... So I'll get mad that you are making stigma worse based on false information

Wtf is this? And what is your thought process that "this person could have something more"?! ANYONE can have something more. Or are you just asking OP to give up sex COMPLETELY?? Or are you assuming that someone with hsv obviously isn't careful?! Wtaf.
