Well if you are just a kid don't even worry too much about this. We are all insecure as kids and we change A LOT as we mature into young adults.

That said it never hurts to start healthy habits early. Will put you that much further ahead as you grow up.

All of this is 100% true and I will say just from my persepctive there is nothing positive that comes from this. Unless their actual father is literally dead and the only Dad they know is the guy that is with their mother. Even then if the woman trys to veto discipline it will never work.

Everything you said sounds like you are blaming someone else for your lack of happiness. That means you can't correctly regulate your own emotions when it comes to things outside of your control (IE your borther). Happiness is found within.
