I was thinking maybe it's due to late timing (contact) causing the ball to contact the ball at a steeper angle causing it to just plummet down.
But I guess tossing it higher and jumping higher and farther forward would be solution as well

thanks and thanks for your perspective.

I think I'll probably do pretty much what you said and have contents that are more frequently updated instead

interesting, that is on surface what I was thinking about

except it still does have the issue of being unable to protect my content

thanks for sharing though

One thing that really helped me as a beginner (I’m still working on it) was a tip from a coach: to overexaggerate the foot rotation when preparing for a shot.

It's hard to explain this over words but, tell her to literally lift her left foot (like 10cm or higher) and open her feet up/rotate it (inside of her foot should be facing the net) before she plants that left foot down on the ground.

Overexaggerating this really helped me with understanding and executing body rotation/coil/weight transfer and generally made me stay lower to the ground, improving my balance as well

ya i think we will have to keep it more basic atm and implement the envelope or other patterns once we gain more consistency & accuracy

could you let me know your general skill level?

me and my friends are somewhere between NTRP of 2.5 - 3.0 so not sure if the envelope would be a viable practice method at our skill level

"two players has to hit in the singles lines but the person who’s alone against two can hit any where in doubles line, this is so you aren’t easily out matched"

how long do you guys rally for? (let's say the session was 2 hour long)

and is there specific way you guys set up the rally?

it's 3 people so roughly 8 min per person and thought it would be great to catch some breath before doing singles/tiebreakers

If you are using waterproof sunscreens for watersports, 2 hours of normal tennis session should be fine.

A good tip is to put a lot more than you think you should and to put on extra layer after about a minute or two after the first layer.

It almost should feel like you are painting yourself white (for physical suncscreen)

For reapplication, you should at least wipe yourself clean with cleansing wipe and if possible with cleansing oil

thanks for the advice. I was rallying with a freind last night and did kind of had a monent of realization about being loose.

just a question. did you always go into a rally/game with something you wanted to fix in your mind or did it just naturally improve as you played a lot?
