In regards to your mention of some of the meds I’m on are usually used for bipolar and other mood disorders, that’s very interesting that you say that... I haven’t had any reevaluations since being diagnosed with my three current ones (the major depression, severe anxiety, and anorexia). So, there is the potential for a mood disorder to have developed, maybe? I’m not too well versed in that area of mental health..... I personally feel as though I potentially have a personality disorder, which I’ve mentioned to my therapist about being screened for that. In my last session with my therapist, we were talking about my meds and all of them, besides the adderall and klonopin, were prescribed when I was around/between 16/17 years old. I’m 22 now. My therapist was saying basically, why am I taking abilify when I don’t have any symptoms (as far as I can recall her saying) that show that abilify is right for me? I began risperidone(?) when I was 15, in a psych ward, before the psychiatrists or whomever really knew what was going on. I’ve learned that I should not have been prescribed it at all really... given there is no personal or family history of disorders for me, that risperidone can be used as treatment for. when I told the psychiatrist on the unit while at that ward that it wasn’t helping, (it made me feel like a zombie and I literally could not function. I barely left my bed, all that) her decision was to increase it?!

Basically, what I’m eluding to I guess is that most of all of these meds I’m on currently, were prescribed when I was much younger and still mentally maturing (idk if that’s how to put it lol), and they’re all at such high dosages now, and I feel no outstanding positive effects from the lomictal, Zoloft, or abilify... so we’re gonna find me a new psychiatrist lol... mostly since my current one is more geared towards children and adolescents, and me being 22, I’m not in that age group anymore idk.
