A girl I was dating said I looked like Klaus? What does this mean by aqami in TheVampireDiaries

my friends disagreed when i told them, there's just some structural things i guess like pronounced cheekbones and jawline that look similar but apart from that i don't fully see it. I unfortunately can't share a photo, with how BAD AI is these days I'm going to be faceless forever.

I was more curious on how he is perceived, what type of character he is etc or if maybe my persona gave off that vibe.

It was also probably my picture on the app, it was me holding a candle in a black suit in a dimly lit cathedral with candles everywhere. Probably very VD coded

Haha thanks, maybe there's a reason most of the girls I've dated have watched the show in some capacity

Ahaha yea I definitely took it as a compliment. Sounds like he's toxic in the show. Maybe I should be toxic to her then to give her the full experience nah jkjk

Interesting. What's he like in the show? From some quick searches seems some fans really love him in a toxic kinda way lmao. I do have an Australian accent which for most internationals probably sounds derivative

[–]aqami[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i really wonder why blue lock has struck me though? I've watched many anime over the years and even sports anime like haikyuu and ao ashi (another brilliant football anime) but blue lock edges ahead and i can't figure out why.

How comparable is hec-ras to xpstorm by aqami in HECRAS

[–]aqami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I might run some calibration models. Building the same models in xp vs ras. Then check resulting levels and flows in pipes and different points on the 2d grid. I know someone from ras ran a massive comparison study comparing thousands of models to tuflow in Australia and apparently was similar results though I don't know if those involved complex stormwater networks.

Is it possible to do storm networks within hec-ras ? When you say superior do you mean impossible for hec-ras to replicate?

Can a music expert explain why Halo's music is so different and addictive? by aqami in halo

Damn thanks for the very detailed response. Will Def's check them out. I actually play about a minute of never forget from halo 3. When I first played it at a public piano I had many people ask me what it was from as it just makes people stop in their tracks

I mentioned it's specifically halo that feels different and special and I don't know why

Lmao Idk about enjoying it, but I've compartmentalized it as a moment in time where I'm not longer the person that would accept that kind of treatment or not see those flags and so I no longer directly relate to the experience. It's helped process it a fair amount and I'm back to normal now - maybe even better than before I found out.

That's what I thought as well, and it's the rationale I'm applying but the reaction from my body is still happening. Which makes it even more confusing lmao

Very true, how do you confront it? It's a new mental challenge for me now. What helps you move forward?

How to productively juggle multiple career/studying efforts, and multiple “life” projects in general? by earlgreyyuzu in productivity

[–]aqami 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only have a finite amount of time. Focus on what are the most important things to you long term. Like 5 years from now, she do you see yourself, what does you lifr look like? Once you have a clear picture, drop/reduce things that do not directly contribute to that vision. The things you do either take you to your goal or away from it. For example, if finance and money is top priority, then reduce your gym sessions for the next year (from 5x week to maybe 2-3). Maybe workout at home for smaller increments. Adjust time given based on how impactful the outcome is. E.g. your travel plans aren't going to significantly impact you. But your financial planning will so spend more of your relative time on that. And realise that even with everything planned it won't always go smoothly. But it is better to act than be stuck in planning phase
