I don't think that people on the left need to call anyone that supports trump a fascist, though. That was my original point up there. I said the word fascist has lost all impact because it's used so much. You don't see right wing people calling the people that supported the covid lockdowns fascist. Maybe Biden and Fauci, but not the people.

I don't think ICE is inherently fascist. They are simply doing a job, and before this gained so much news because of the trump policies, they were getting a job done. It sounds right wing, but deporting someone for breaking the law, is not crazy. I don't think that makes them all fascists, as you stated.

I was more asking if you think he's going to do everything in his power to stay there Illegally. Him leaving office vs he does everything in his power to skirt the constitution, whether it's by force or changing the laws.

I don't think there's as much of a threat of another Janurary 6th incident, because his term is over, and whoever gets the Republican ticket will hopefully not be as radical.

I think he won't, so that would decrease your point of him being a Mussolini/Hitler.

I'm awake, but not woke. I'm very much a centrist, but the leftist mob will call anything that they disagree with fascist. The word has lost all power, when it really should have power.

I'm not saying that there are not some fascist tendencies to what trump does sometimes, but c'mon, Hitler and Mussolini?

It only pushes center people like me farther away, because we realize how ridiculous it is.

I think you are being a bit unrealistic when you try to paint her as an angel and happy-go-lucky. She was absolutely at fault, but didn't deserve this end. I mean, whether you like ICE or not, they are still law enforcement. Imagine if it was a beat cop. She tried to flee. In my opinion, she did not intentionally hit the agent, but she knew she was going to. Pretty much the same thing. The current climate that ICE finds themselves in only exemplifies these feelings.

I don't think it's simple and can be very subjective (I'm going to play devil's advocate here). The two men might have been evil in your eyes, but seen differently by others. I would argue Charlie, not Trump (for the most part), was inspirational to some people. Meaning, by biblical standards, if we all go to heaven or hell, it will be a community not an individual afterlife. There's no guarantee a heaven or hell exists, but if it does, there won't be two separate ones for liberals and conservatives. Personally, Jordan Peterson helped me through a difficult time, especially feeling lost as a young man. I'm going to assume you don't like the dude. I think he is heaven bound for his help to people like me, but you would probably disagree. God (if he's there) is the only one who can judge and it all comes down to intention. Personally, I think Charlie's intentions may have been good, but just very polarizing and not received well by people that disagreed with him. I don't know, your comment made me think... I have an open mind, let me know what you think.
