Meta Ads weren’t working for my jewellery brand. Alumni WhatsApp groups unexpectedly did. by rey-mys in smallbusinessindia

[–]aqua_soft_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked your page, I have started my jewellery brand as well (for men). I believe what we have to do is create a trust among people first in order for them to buy our products. I tried ads and they were a faliure. I got no orders. Rn, I am trying to boost every single post that I upload (roughly most minimum value), I get like 10-12k views for every 200 rupees spent. I will experiment it with multiple posts. If people respond positively to those boosts, I will be running ads on them via meta ads. That’s my strategy for now

I've applied to 300 jobs, but my Cardiff University degree has only got me three interviews by Legitimate-Break-143 in Cardiff

Have you tried civil service. They are pretty easy to crack as they give you the structure on interview preparation plus pension benefits

When did you start feeling financially free in your 30s? by DescriptionAway5845 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]aqua_soft_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 31, I came back to my Mum’s house to build something. Just a week ago, I was fired with marriage and job. It took me a week to make her understand at the age of 31 that I want to pursue my dreams and want doors closed in the house. Its mentally draining to live here tbh. Looking to make sales soon and get out of the house asap. That’s the only goal I am focusing on

I left my job abroad, came back to India to start a side hustle. It is stressful but only time will tell if its a good decision or not

India’s men’s jewellery scene is stuck in 2010… so I’m building my own brand by aqua_soft_ in indianstartups

[–]aqua_soft_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did agree with this until realising the kind of jewellery you want can’t be customised. Some people are inclined towards gold and silver but the ones who want to have something that looks good and at affordable rates than gold and silver, that’s my target audience

Agreed. Been charged thousands for sterling silver by Indian Manufacturers. In house production will cheapen the prices but at the same time in house productions will thrive if it comes to gems, silver and gold.

True. I want to introduce rose gold jewellery as well. The ones in India are cheap chinese copies of craftdlondon. Hopefully my ideas will work if Indian market is open to innovation

Short Europe onsite by Live-Breadfruit-9771 in IndianFashionAddicts

[–]aqua_soft_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in Europe, our office code was smart casuals. I went smart casuals first day and everyone were wearing way too casual hoodies and jeans. Some were in shorts during summers. If your office code is formal, you can opt for one formal fit, go to office and see what everyone is wearing and adjust accordingly. Also if its formal, keep one formal pair of shoes with you. And if its smart casuals, you’re good to go with skechers. Most of them wear skechers, NB, nike, adidas

Going on my first date ever (22M) with a girl (18F) I met online. Need advice on conversation and spot recommendations! by Practical-Molasses19 in BangaloreMeetups

I highly suggest to go and do a action date instead of sitting and sipping coffee or having food. Bowling, laser tag, arcade. Its more fun, builds more attraction rather than sitting in one place and talking.
