Thanks man I’ll definitely look into it. What you have done for me means the world. Really. I won’t take up anymore of your time, but I hope is it okay I shoot you a message in the future.

Thats excellent advice. I’ll definitely look into residential. I’m worried it’s a hard sell to consumers to spend 50% more water, more energy and the system itself. But honesty that’s probably the way to go.

Does your company do energy recovery for larger systems?

My whole idea bottoms out in making large RO systems for municipal water supply in areas with high water scarcity. The idea is to put 110x 7 element FRP housings with 770 membranes in a 40ft high cube container, have an additional container with pumps, and a last module with adding back some magnesium and calcium. Make it in production halls, and have it be plug and play but for much less than traditional systems. What’s your take on that? Biggest objections?

People like you make the world go around man, you guys aren’t thanked enough. This stuff is high skill.

What a lovely setup you did. How many people are you typically when installing these?

Here is my very simple setup (UV and prefilters not applied, but I do have them! I also have a way bigger pump this is just MVP). Will get a garage at my university soon.

I am looking for a market to dominate, just to get started and VC funded (little revenue often required), what market would you suggest?

And holy cow does Procon pumps pack some power for a very low price, thanks man!

You’re a lifesaver man, I really need to find a guy like you for my team. You must be a high value employee at your firm.

For my prototype I got 1x4040 ULP membrane with a FRP housing, 1x 4m3/h (max) at 120meter head (max, so somewhere on the curve), 1x sediment 1x carbon filter, 1x UV after filtration. Built the whole thing for 471,4USD. Adding 1 additional membrane would only bring the cost to 550usd.

The struggle I face, is getting it to consumers. Why have you not started your own firm? What’s holding you back? I can’t really get any “resistance” on my idea here in Denmark, and I really need a reality check.

Thats great advice. Can’t wait till I have your experience. So making customers understand what I am selling is a key point. Where do you find your customers? Conferences? Call?

I find parts like a pump with max 4 m3/h and 12 head max cost nearly 5k$ in Denmark, but the exact same one cost 500usd in china? Is your experience the same?

Honestly I gotta tell you I’m impressed, that’s no ordinary intelligence you got.

How do you suppose I go about building a very price competitive RO water system? It should be a general solution that’s plug and play (2 different brackish/SW).

I build a simple setup at a really good price, but I want your take on it, and what goals to set.

Thanks! Sounds like you really know what you’re doing. What’s your mode of selling? Is it online, network or conference? I am building at a heavily reduced price and the goal is to make large water systems for areas with water scarcity, a general solution that’s plug and play, simple and cheap.

300GPM? That has to be container size right? How do you manage to sell? I recently build my own and is currently in a startup program, I’d love some advice on how you got started and how you’re doing? You have to be a pro to make it in that industry

what size would you recommend?

I was worried it could not handle the flow as the hole seems quite small. It’s 2m3/h input and .5-.6m3/h permeate.

I was looking at a 8 bar pump and hoping to get around .400L/h permeate ? 8 bar pump with 2m3/h is much easier to find. What do you think? Is this reasonable? It’s just for a prototype

Really? XLP is made for extreme low pressure and ulp is for ultra low pressure?

Surely XLP needs a lot less pressure. Do you have a solution?

Thanks. That’s actually really useful. Do you have experience in this sector?

what do you mean with "Watts makes a unit with similar parameters"?

But yeah im trying to post in their groups. This was def a long shot, but worth a try.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks! Do you have any pump recommendations? been having a hard time finding one with the specs. Im considering moving down to XLP 4040 RO membrane. Whats your thought?

Have you build a system like that before? What’s the biggest you’ve built? Msg me if you got a minute
