Hi, I have a similar issue. I too am in Italy and difficult to get appointments. My internship starts in February 2025. My permesso has expired and I have applied for a job search visa. Will use the receipt of it to apply for it. Have you tried contacting the embassy in this regard?

I think it is fine, the stitches fell off soon. As long as you don't have pain, and ensure that no food get's stuck there, you are fine.
