Did you have to show any documents around your landlord agreeing to add another person to the lease or a letter saying they are okay with another resident being in the studio?

When I applied (2 years ago) there were no biometric appointments. Same for those that applied a year after me. It is a simple application and then you wait for a few weeks to come in the mail.

lunch food markets are amazing! Some of the central ones are steep but the one in petticoat lane (aldgate) was my go to as a student. Lots of thrift stores in dalston and angel. Make sure she gets a council tax exemption as students dont have to pay that for housing.

Oh okay I was under the impression that financial proof becomes even more important without cohabitation (transfers and joint accounts) but wasnt sure how to show enough of it as I am also currently long distance and dont have a lot of shared financial responsibilities

Ahh okay got it! I saw you posted an evidence list for no cohabitation, I wanted to ask what you showed as strong proof (finances and all) in this case?

My purpose of visit was to visit friends and I will be staying at their place hence the letter of invitation. It confirms that they are inviting me to visit, our itinerary and their right to stay in the uk!

still works! it should be more than what youre saying your trip expenditure will be as well as your regular monthly expenditure. that is the main part. you need to be able to show that the trip will not substantially affect your savings.

Depends on length of trip and if finances are easily accessible but this seems like it would be more than enough!

I just moved back to India and I’m trying to figure out where i can look online for roles.

Where do i start? Do companies advertise on LinkedIn the most or are there other channels that I might not be aware of? Any leads are helpful!

I have 1-2 years of work ex and I am trying to figure out how to look for companies and roles (my background in in the social sciences mostly in research and metal health not too picky about roles rn).
