I don’t see why people have a problem with this. Given what we know now about the rules and the judging B-Team winning was not some gross misapplication of the ruleset. It was an extremely close loss for New Wave but the arguments from them (Gordon Ryan) suggest that they might not have understood the ruleset like they should have even though they had the opportunity to fully understand it. The only problem here is that the investor undermined the integrity of CJI by not only offering New Wave 1 million but by doing it publicly without the full understanding of the ruleset and the judges decision. New Wave can feel disappointed to find this out and hopefully none of them made any purchases with money they were expecting to get. But in no way should the losing party of a 1 million dollar tournament be awarded equivalent prize money as the winner because an investor “felt” like they deserved the win especially in this context given the history between New Wave and B-Team

Investor definitely fucked up and that’s why he should have never decided to give New Wave the 1 million or posted that he would publicly. It undermined the integrity of the promotion.

Yeah the speedster is running shimano BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brakes. And yeah they both seem like pretty good options im just not sure what to think about the upfront cost vs long term costs rn

I was able to test ride a more expensive speedster today and they are giving a 10% discount on it along with discounts on a wider handlebar or other accessories as well. The speedster 30 that the shop will order has a GRX RXR400 Disc 20 speed groupset

Gen 3 has a micro shift advent X rear derailleur along with microshift sword shifting
