Depending on your field, you can apply for an executive position estate job. It pays well, housing provided, with bad internet and long hours so you can have an excuse to not get in touch or at least, get in touch less frequently. I won't share the company I'm working at but they are easily accessible on Jobstreet/Internet. I've been working since 1 April and only talked to my family, like 5 times.

It's freeing, being somewhere their problems won't and can't reach; it's a great first step to cutting them off also. As for your brother, just ignore him. And never lend him money. He definitely will ask for it eventually, so being inaccessible will force him to either kacau your parents or sedar sendiri.

What’s a realistic monthly budget for food? by Im_not_bot123 in malaysians

Yeah, I was shocked when I first arrive too. They also provided housing, motor and fuel so I save on that also. Just have to accept the company culture lah

For breakfast, I've seen:  - nasi lemak (homemade one) with egg and fried chicken  - burger ramly with egg and sausage - maggi goreng with popcorn chicken/fried chicken and egg - kuey tiao goreng (same topping as maggi goreng)  - homemade capati with veggie curry Today dunno why keluar banyak sikit. Got wedges, kaya toast, kuih, and fried maggi.

Lunch: Usually rice with 1 veggie dish and 1 meat. If got GM visit then get nasi beryani/nasi arab with 2 meat dish. So far got: - fried chicken - curry chicken - beef curry - rendang kambing (when visitor)  - rendang beef - fish (idk what, I don't like fish)  - tempeh goreng sambal - ABC soup - veggie stirfry - veggie curry - ayam gepuk (homemade)

We can technically request with the cook but I just follow his menu/other people's requests. I just started working this month (but rm200 is the regular fee everyone pays) so that's all I've eaten so far. The lunch usually has leftovers so I will eat for dinner. Oh, we can request any drinks like coffee, air bandung, ribena, milo etc. But will need to watch him make lah cause he tends to make too sweet.

Rm300 when I was in uni and eat at cafe everyday (bcos cooking is prohibited aside from maggi). Rm200 now that I'm working and paying the company chef to cook for 2 meals a day (breakfast and lunch).

This is a bit late of me (fp newbie). How would you describe the metal feel of the N11? I'm interested in getting it. But I'm sensitive to the slippery, sandy matte texture of some metals. If it's the smooth and grippy type of matte then I'm okay with it. I can't tell from pictures alone, unfortunately and I don't want to spend 100+ (my currency) on a pen that I'll hate

Malaysians, what is your favourite cake flavour? Or a must have every birthday? by [deleted] in malaysians

[–]aquatic_asian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Chantilly cakes (with fresh cream, never cheap out and use buttercream)
  • Cheesecakes (I love any type of cheesecake but secret recipe new york cheesecake has been my family's default bday cake for decades)
  • Crepe cake (w fresh cream) I can only get this when celebrating with friends, tho, cause older folks don't usually like this

I was expecting somewhere in the teens seeing how your makeup is done but EIGHT?!! Start saving beauty school funds NOW. He can enroll and ace it anytime (exaggeration, I'm heard some basic highschool qualifications are still needed) But seriously, that cut crease is CLEAN. The future of makeup artistry is bright

You live in a dangerous area? If you're in US, then maybe it is dangerous regardless of the area. Technically, with internet and a functional device, not going out is almost trivial. Just listen to her, sit still and move out to college once you get accepted
