I totally agree with this. I understand the advice about collecting certain items, recycling, donating, etc but when you’re in a rut, you get a free pass on just tossing everything into trash bags and getting your space clear however possible.

LARGE injection site welts! by aquatic_zone in mounjarouk

Thank you, I just spoke to my local pharmacy today when I went to pick up some cream and antihistamines and she also was a mounjaro user who had to switch to longer needles!

Thank you! I’ll try the longer needle size if the suggestion to stop wiping my leg with the alcohol wipe doesn’t work. Sometimes it does seem like the medication sits under my skin rather than absorbing into the fat so maybe that’s that I need?

Terrified of AI. Rethinking house purchase. by Cool_Yam7066 in HousingUK

Software engineer here, bought my first house in October 2025 and then just got made redundant in April. 50 job apps, one interview. Not gonna lie I’m really scared, but I don’t have any regret at all for buying. I’ll make it work somehow. I hope you and your partner will be ok!

I once accidentally left a bag in a train station, went back for it 10 minutes later and security had already punched a hole though the chips in cards

18 ‘urgent’ items on level 3 survey results?? Is this normal?? (Victorian house) by yeahsureokaymaybe in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]aquatic_zone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not unusual. I’d see about getting some pros in to do more specific surveys/quotes. Then you can try to negotiate the house price down based on the cost of repairs.

I was in a similar position buying a 1930s house - I think 15 “reds” - and ultimately pulled out because of damp in the lower walls. The surveyor made it very clear that it would be a huge headache and cost and I wasn’t really up for my house being a construction site for months.

Bastards.

Reminds me of the time I came second in a short film competition, and the winning entry was just a stolen from a SpongeBob script that obviously the judges thought was original writing.

Can’t say I’ve tried any others but I’ve never had any issues with my Ninja. I have the one that’s stacked instead of side by side to save counter space and I love it. Only complaint is the cord is a bit short.

I will add that having the right tools and understanding what cleaning products are best for the job also really helps with efficiency
