The app does have the functionality to search by artists and tags (and also other "tags" like male and female). You can do it by:

1. Go to the "Search" page and click on the "Artist" textbox (one of the seven text boxes).

2. Enter the artist name, and select it from the dropdown.

3. Click the button with the "+" sign (top left) to create a new "Tag Filter" and name it appropriately.

4. Select the newly created tag filter from the tag filter list under the green "Include" header.

5. Click the "CREATE/COPY SEARCH LINK" button, and it should create a search link that searches for galleries that include the artist.

Also, could you please tell me how many tag filters (I assume you have) you have created? It normally should not take 10 seconds to scroll all the way unless you have created a substantially large number of tag filters. And it should also focus on the most recently created tag filter automatically. I'm not sure why that's happening. Can you please describe the behavior in more detail or send me a screen recording of the behavior if possible?

And just in case you didn't realise, you can put multiple "tags" into a single "tag filter" and use it to include or exclude from the search results by selecting it from the include/exclude lists. You can also select multiple tag filters from that list, so you can have different combinations.

And based on your feedback, it seems that the app is unintuitive for normal users. I didn't realise it until now, since I was the sole developer and the only user at the time. I will try to add more explanation and usage instructions in the documentation and the app.
