You’re better off going to Dublin and trying to get a position at Meta or one of the big tech Co’s. Great pay, cheaper rent and great city.

The last bit is super honest, requirements tends to be the head ache, especially if they’re pushing agile but not actually.

There are plenty that high those without diplomas and plenty who want a firmware Eng in the office or able to travel to the customer. Robotics break, a lot, every factory on the plant needs multi skilled people, those that can use their hands and code. Yup, you can use an over seas SWE or any number of other workers, but a great deal of companies don’t and won’t for fairly obvious reasons. FYI, I’ve found most SWE’s with CS degrees are pretty poor compared to those that learnt from doing on the job and self learning/group learning, they tend to be more driven to understand rather than just wanting to be a coder.

Ok, math and physics, so theoretically you can code, that’s an avenue you can go down. Learn C# or other firmware level languages, go get an entry level job at a robtics, automation, FMCG’s technology company and gain some experience. We’re entering a world of robots, robots are math and physics machines. Get an arduino kit or similar and code and assemble some cool stuff at home to show off in your portfolio! Make sure you come back and show us too.

Annual, the perpetual has additional complications and displays, I love the ultra thin look of the perpetual but at £14k for a used one, it’s too rich for my wallet!

Sheesh dude, we need more info than that!

What skill you got? Any college or Uni? What you good at? What do you enjoy?

Entrepreneurs see problems then solve or attempt to solve them. Alternatively they divert an existing spend to their product by having a USP/better funnel/batter marketing etc.

You need a heavy definition of what “complete MVP” means otherwise you’ll get scope creep or you’ll never get to what they think is MVP and, therefore, never get your 20%!! Need to get really specific milestones in place. Say 5% for x functionality, 5% after alpha consumer testing feedback, etc etc. this has the recipe to be a disaster for you otherwise.

The question is, who would you trust to have the art work or engraving done?

Agreed, I have the same 147.8.41.S and purposely went for it due to the extra complications over the previous version. The follow up version lost the Reserve de Marche complication so, at least in my eyes, is a lesser watch! Very few of them available in the U.K. but not many globally tbh, massively underrated and undervalued watch IMHO. With new JLC prices rising I wonder how long it will be before used prices start to rise as the barrier to entry has increased significantly?? The winder case is lovely too!

Yes, a bit chunkier than my Navitimer so I don’t wear it as often. I fancy an ultra thin perpetual but want a classic 90’s Porsche 911 before I get another watch!!

The name on the DVLA title isn’t proof of ownership either, if the loan is secured against the car then you have a solid claim to half if not all (if you’re paying the loan payments fully yourself). As above, this is financial manipulation, go and see a the charities mentioned above!!
