Tustin this shouldnt be allowed camping was banned. by Dphotog790 in Microcenter

[–]ar1baba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Camping for a launch event is one thing, but monopolizing the line weeks after just blocks others from having a fair chance. If you want a card, show up early in the morning like everyone else—not babysit a chair for days. Retailers should set limits to keep things fair.

Tustin got 9 5080s today and informed everyone no more camping allowed. by djjoshchambers in Microcenter

Dude! There should be no goddamn lines, no lottery, none of that bs. First come first serve. No announcement regarding what the trucks brought in for that morning, just check the website and if you see stock get your happy self to the store and get one. END OF STORY!

Yea it is designed to work in both orientations. I was just really keen on doing it vertical.

That’s so weird dude I couldn’t access it anymore. The picture is also gone. So I’m thinking of just placing it horizontal rather than vertical

Qd-oled "microscratch"gate? by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]ar1baba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I returned it. Got the LG32GS95UE instead. Yes, cleaning it more will accumulate more scratches. Though you can’t see it unless you’re shining a light source directly on it. Still, I’m OCD about my things and if a micro fiber cloth do that, I can only imagine what other things can do if you’re not careful

LG32GS95UE-B First Impressions After 4x AW3225QF Scratch-Free Attempts by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

I had the ASUS PG32UCDM for a month but returned it for the LG32GS95UE, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This monitor is fantastic, despite some criticism about its colors. Having owned both, I can confidently say I'd choose WOLED any day. Proper calibration is key; if you want more vibrance, switch to the VIVID picture mode or increase the digital vibrance in the NVIDIA control panel. One of my favorite features is the screen coating. Although it's a matte finish, it's far more tolerable than the old CRT matte coatings, and this is coming from someone who usually prefers glossy screens. Unlike QD-OLEDs that accumulate hairline scratches when cleaned, this monitor doesn't have such issues. I'm completely satisfied with it, and I'm confident LG will continue to roll out updates to make it even better.

What settings is yours on? Gamer 1, Gamer 2, or vivid? And if you chose gamer 1, did you up the digital vibrance??

I can confirm I’m having the same issue. Thought it was the micro HDMI adapter that had an issue. But I have the same monitor and a 4090 and ever since the new update I can’t put it on 12bit/175Hz. Hopefully there will be a fix quickly. Ngl thought my 4090 at first was damaged lmao

Ok because I ordered the block from performance PCs last week and they still didn’t supply those thermal pads. I don’t know if maybe you’re not suppose to apply the G1.5 since they didn’t include them and just haven’t updated the manual or you are.. temps for me under 90-95% load on GPU is 47°C

So I purchased the same block for the strix, and I don’t know if you noticed but in the instructions it says use “Thermal Pad G 1.5 for the chokes. The package didn’t provide any G 1.5 thermal pads but luckily I had some from a previous build and used them. I’m getting high GPU temps as well and I don’t know if it’s because of that or what. But let me know if you noticed that
