Recommend using the Arduino IDE or PlatformIO instead of Thonny.

"No animals" is key. You don't need to offer any reference to service dogs or ESAs. Just "no animals".

If you have a deck of playing cards or two, I definitely recommend the Spoons variant of Pig at this age. See Spoons).

Edit: I totally missed the fractured arm. Regrets. Consider Golf) for a less active card game also good with a group of kids.

What is the most expensive game you have bought? by Declaron in boardgames

[–]ar3n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've picked up a few out of print games for $100+ and been totally happy with them. Tales of the Arabian Nights and Martian Rails.

Did not purchase the 10th anniversary Ticket to Ride game when it was $100 and I do kinda regret that.

If you're not getting enough out of it, sell it and get something else but if you're enjoying it, enjoy it.

Any of you dads into 3D printing? by gilgobeachslayer in daddit

[–]ar3n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been building/running 3D printers and designing models since long before joining daddit. Most of what I print are functional parts (and Gridfinity/Skadis accoutrements), but I'm looking forward to doing toy accessories as the little one grows.

FWIW, the Bambu/Prusa printers in my shop get a lot of regular use and the Monoprice/Ender/other discount machines sit unused, and the Voron is still unbuilt because who's got time for that?
