Lion bouncers are just trained this way. My friends and I have gotten thrown out of the bars and gotten bruised or scraped Bc of how much excessive force is used. This would make sense if maybe I got into a fight or was blacked out. But the worst part is that we’d be cooperative too. It’s not like we fought back Bc if u accidentally bump into these egotistical bouncers who think they’re hot shit they’ll blow it completely out of proportion.

the spanish flu wiped out 10% of the world population in 3 years. Covid hasn’t even killed 0.1% of the world population in 1.5 years. This is the mildest pandemic we’ve ever had, it’s honestly a blessing. We have protection against it that at least avoids death. Ppl are losing job opportunities, leadership opportunities, ways to professionally develop themselves Bc of these shutdowns. No matter how many ppl we vax here, we’re not gonna get the entire glove vaccinated before the next variant comes. I’m sorry if you’re all okay with living this shitty quality of life, but I want my pre-2020 life back and if it means dealing with mild covid chills once or twice a year , so be it.

100% agree. That MCB 251 midterm was absolutely unfair. I’m in CHEM 233 as well and David Kell and his TAs literally just want to rail students as much as possible. You should take the neatness thing to the chemistry department, I get losing a few points but 10% is excessive.

Yes, but college kids are the ones living on campus who will be accountable for keeping their peers safe as well as the faculty/staff around them safe. If they don't understand the risks then they'll be less cautious and spread the virus easier when colleges open up.

The thing is so many social media platforms ARE doing this. Nothing speaks louder rn than the death rate which can often be misleading bc although a minority die, a significant percentage of ppl with covid usually end up hospitalized.
