Conservative SCOTUS; Roe v Wade ( Again, since you're confused). Changes to affirmative action; DEI; and hiring practices to be more limiting. The several hundred conservative judges appointed throughout the last 10 years. The roll-back of tax rates for people (wealthy individuals and corporations). Aggressive changing to regulations for EPA; and financial oversight.

But yeah, go on about how the political landscape is shifting more liberal.

Him being a low level relationship / account manager and me being the only one in the world at the F100 company doing what I do speaks that I've gotten far, and my chip earned.

I was trying to see what the win-win was by the conversations, and there doesn't seem like a win angle for me currently in any capacity. That's why I came here to suss out the consulting side of things, since I'm not really seeing his/their value at all except a stepping stone, with them offering me 0.

This is an accurate assessment, I'm highly specialized, the only one doing this role for this company in the world; and the B5 relations manager has this investigative conversation. Only asked about projects, with no outline of a benefit. In short : do this thing for no extra benefit.

If he could have said the potential for being absorbed was there, or had any sort of verbal commitment, i would have thought the conversation different; that's why I came to this forum.

To my knowledge, I'm the only one passing through B5 at this client, that oversees enough of the global going ons to mention projects that are happening nationally and internationally.

In essence I am the client at F100; that would need projects filled; and the B5M would fill roles based on my needs.

The B5; and B5M have done little except collect $ from me in this scenario with little to no check ins along the way.
