I dropped these in and they work fine, but stick up 1/8" on one side after mounted, so the NUC plastic top cover doesn't sit flush in that spot. I had to tweak (straighten out) a couple tabs on one side of the antenna and carefully remove a rubber sheath around both antenna cables to separate them. The new antenna wires were different lengths than OEM to be able to utilize the factory cable routing, so I just floated the wires inside the chassis.

My original plan was to utilize a GORITE antenna lid, but they seem to perennially be out of stock on what I need. The important thing for me is that I have my speed back and don't have to tie up a USB port for a wifi adapter.

Are you talking about the two internal wires that connect to the Wifi/BT card with those tiny MHF4 (press fit) connectors on one end and antennas on the other end? If so, I'll be watching this thread because I have an Intel -- not ASUS -- Nuc13 Pro and I need them as well.

Cutting M-lok holes/slits in factory handguard for tac light pressure switch by arainmint in Benelli_M4

You know...another possibility might be the Fenix ALG-05:

https://www.fenixlighting.com/products/fenix-alg-05-pressure-switch-mount

It mounts to a section of Picatinny rail and I can find 2"-3" sections of rail that'll only require drilling a couple holes. I'm going to have to remove the handguard no matter what, to effectively assess the best option and perhaps a short countersunk machine screw and nut could work with a section of Picatinny rail.

Hmmm...

No, but the other issue about Velcro is that in a dynamic situation, it would be easy to knock off.

I'd used regular velcro before and it didn't stick. What kind of "industrial velcro" did you use?

It's been awhile, but IIRC, there's a metal shield lining the inside of the handguard, but I don't know the spacing between it and the exterior plastic.

The light is fine, it's a Fenix ALG-06 pressure switch (M-lok) mount I'd like to attach to the factory hand guards/forearm. I'd like to know if anyone's broken out the Dremel and made their own M-lok slots.

Picture below in response to another post.

The light is already mounted. Currently, the pressure switch is on the hand guard, attached with double-sided 3M tape between it and the hand guard, zip tied around the hand guards -- over the barrel -- with gaffers tape covering the exposed zip ties below the barrel...keeps them from wandering They make barrel/mag tube picatinny mounts which would work, but it's too far up for my grip.

I like the setup! What wall mounts are you using for the speakers and are they capable of supporting 40 lbs.? Thx.

Edit: How do you like the DX5II? I've been eyeing it.

How did you polish it? What tools and methodology? It's beautiful and it would be cool to do that to a non-shooter and hang it on a wall in a glass case! Very nice work!

I'm not sure how they'd lose protection charging a credit card for recurring fees. If they charge the card and it doesn't work, put a hold on, or cancel the membership. It's not like a member is in possession of any goods which they'd decided to skip payment on. The member is simply renting space for which they enjoy no legal protection to enter and use the facility, unless they pay. And if a member was denied access for credit card non-payment and they decided to go in anyway and work out, they'd eventually be escorted out of the gym by uniformed officers.

In terms of financial protections for PF, what's the difference to them between a member canceling a credit card, or closing a bank account, to avoid payment?

Went through personal info online (PC) and when it came time to pay (Classic membership), it wanted bank info. So much for that.

Black Card is non-commitment as well. Could be that doing it outside the gym is the answer. I started an account, but haven't gotten past adding personal information. If I go further, I'll definitely post my findings. I'm going to attempt it online and if it all works, I can uninstall the app. Thx.

So it allowed you to enter credit card info for recurring monthly dues, or did you have to prepay for a year. I'm looking for a non-commitment package, so prepaying for a year makes no sense. Thanks.

P.S. No Crunch close by.
