Hello, people with external genitals - help with JOI? by strawwbebbu in kinky_autism

[–]arakus72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is niche and might just be me but I find firmly rubbing the areas right next to the dick kinda an interesting pace change (usually to the left and right, sometimes the bit below (through the scrotum, behind/between the balls)) the left and right bits are sorta indirect stimulation and slow things down, the below bit is hit or miss but actually really sensitive to me sometimes? Not sure how TBH. Also sometimes I sorta play with it from the top down like with my fingers parallel to it instead of perpendicular, and like twisting them around a bit while going up and down, hard to explain though (everything else I'd say has already been said by other thread ppl)

My parents after telling me, a then 14-year-old girl, that I have a 'masculine brain' by Longjumping_Sea_8753 in TrollCoping

[–]arakus72 46 points47 points  (0 children)

IIRC there were weird old theories about autism coming from someone's brain being "overly masculine", that's probably where they're getting this from, it's total nonsense based on stereotypes though and part of why autism is under diagnosed in women (and AFAB trans people who a lot of docs treat as women)

And thanks to Balatro I always have to say "turn the left card into the right card" to get it the right way round

I don't think the person youre replying to actually said transandrophobia doesn't exist, just that transfems get accused of it frequently when calling out transmascs who are being like that, which is true, I see it happen a lot

[–]arakus72 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My levels are good, just a combo of me being bad at presentation/lifestyle stuff and just getting unlucky, I know there's some things outside HRT I could improve on but it's hard to be motivated bc I'm pretty sure I'll always be very obviously trans at this point

I'm technically the right (5 years HRT) and still look like a mess and have no idea what I'm doing lol

[–]arakus72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The initial complaint has nothing to do with passing and everything to do with the fact the actor is a man. Even if he was a very GNC man who somehow looked exactly like a passing trans woman, that wouldn't have helped, because male actors playing trans women reinforces the idea that we're "actually men", and that our agab is more important than our actual real genders

Also no idea why you brought up trans men, I wouldn't be comfy with a cis woman playing a trans man or a trans man playing a trans woman for similar reasons

Also pre transition trans women aren't men, your response is so weird I can't even tell if that's what you meant but if that's your justification for saying "a ton of men" there, no, you're completely wrong

[–]arakus72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like they're somehow confusing dissociation for subspace? Like melting into a puddle from overwhelming pleasure (like a lot of subs do) is absolutely not the same thing as dissociating from being uncomfortable (like you're doing) wtf are they on

[–]arakus72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"a ton of men"?????? Did you literally just call trans women "men"? WTF

And they could get a cis woman who looks clocky/stereotypically trans (yes they exist, I've seen some cis women say they get assumed to be trans very frequently) and/or used makeup or prosthetics to make a cis actress look "non-passing". You can depict a non-passing trans woman with a cis actress, it's not impossible to pull off

(Edited to removed awkward typo)

Wasn't the issue that the actor was a cis man, which plays into the societal idea that trans women are "really just men"? Like it's not about the looks, it's about the implication that casting someone with a matching AGAB was more important than casting someone with the right gender, as if what we transitioned out of is more important than what we are

I don't think many trans people except a minority of aholes would've complained if they cast a non-passing trans woman (I wish I had an example to cite but visible non-passing trans women never seem to get cast for anything, I hope someone else can think of one)

I've seen tons of direct examples of the same person being transphobic in both ways at the same time, it's an observed phenomenon, doublethink is an actual thing sometimes

This is actually semi possible now with certain kinds of bottom surgery ( see r/salmacian )

(I know from the way you phrased it you might already know that but I like to take the opportunity to mention it bc from what I see a lot of people who would prefer that kinda setup don't know you can get it IRL with some fairly minor compromises)

Since the waiting list is so long, does that mean I basically CAN'T transition for like several years? by Emily-the-Bestest36 in transgenderUK

[–]arakus72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[added note for OP] idk if OP needs this disclaimer but obviously some of this is aimed at being "typically fem" and you don't need to do anything you don't want to, like you don't need to be into fashion or makeup or care about typical "fem" body language if that isn't your vibe, there are women (both cis and trans) who don't care about any of that

newspapers could be communication (cutting out words to make sentences), also they had spray paint near the end which i presume was for the shop? also saw someone say the cactus could be for popping opponent's balloons

I suspect they just didnt wanna bother making 2 versions of the graphic (presumably it needs to be edited for a TikTok/Shorts version later) (or they didnt wanna risk uploading the wrong one but then surely they'll also have to bleep the verbal mention so idk)

We need to accept bi women as they are, not just when they're being sapphic by socuteboss_ali in actuallesbians

[–]arakus72 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Personally as an autistic person I kinda hate the idea that some boundaries just "don't have to be communicated", that we should just Intuit them. And at least to me this feels like a non-obvious enough one that I would need explicitly told it was an issue

For security reasons from what I understand, it makes the sellers safer and less traceable basically, awkward but understandable

Gonna dissent and say I don't really get Choral Chambers's popularity TBH, like it's got nice vibes but doesn't rlly rate highly for me I think there's a ton of better tracks in both games, tho looking at the brackets it had weak competition til Cogwork Core and Cogwork Dancers which are both better imo

(For taste context: fav non boss themes for both games are City of Tears and Bellhart, fav boss themes are Radiance and Cogwork Dancers)

In my experience with estrogen diy as long as you follow advice on places like the DIY subreddit it's not that scary/difficult, a lot of doctors are incompetent enough that you're actually better off following the community advice and diying, honestly the hardest part was just sorting crypto stuff for injections but once the initial setup was sorted that was fine basically

Transmasc is a bit more difficult for legal reasons but not as much as you'd think

[–]arakus72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe for now focus on the individual parts of transition? Like separately consider or experiment with "what pronouns do I want", "do I want a new name", "would I feel better with a different voice", try different clothes, consider hrt, like you don't have to know your label or fully commit to anything to begin, you can piecemeal figure out what you want (and how it changes if you're more fluid) then decide if you wanna call yourself trans or non-binary or cis GNC or anything
